Hired this company to fix roof top deck to stop leaks . They said they could do the job, we paid them and then the leaks never stopped . I called the company several times and asked if they would come back because it was not fixed . In August they said it would be more money to fix it we agreed just as long as it is fixed . It is worse then when they first started . We just want a refund so we can hire someone to else .Business response

GSR performed a repair to a section of roof in 2022. Customer then noticed a new issue / leak in roof and contacted GSR. Customer was informed on February 24th, 2023 that leak discussed on their roof was in a new area, this was after a comprehensive inspection was done. Customer had reasonable questions that were reviewed and discussed with them including the material we would use and the process that we would folow. On February 28th, 2023 at approximately 1:53pm a comprehensive quote was sent from GSR system to customer via our custom quoting system SumoQuote. On March 3rd, 2023 at 9:15am ************************* (GSR) contacted *********************** via email with an email that read " Hey ************* Please see attached quote for deck repair with 2 year warranty" that also included the quote again. On March 7th, 2023, *********************** responded "Received, thank you. " GSR then sough to get customer's signature on quote so we could complete the work. Customer was contacted via phone but quote was not signed off on. Since this time we have communicated to customer that we would love to be of service to them and this issue and we are hopeful we can get their roofing leak / issue finalized and be able to get this issues closed.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me provided that the company does fix the leak and provide the two year warranty as stated. We have since been in communication with the company. Thank you

Good Shepherd Roofing installed a new roof on my home Jan 9th, 2023. During the install there was a large bang in my master bath and the ventilator fan stopped working. I advised the crew and they said they would check it out the next day. They didn't return and I had to call the crew lead (*****). He said he would come but didn't. I followed up again and he sent someone over to look. He said it was old and they didn't break it. I didn't believe him. I called an electrician and when he came to see it, he confirmed although it wasn't new, it looked as if it had been damaged. It was replaced at a cost of $270.I updated the General Manager, *************************, who had been my primary poing of contact for several years. On Feb 10th I shared feedback on the job, the damage to the fan and to my satellite dish, as well as not tidying up properly post the job, leaving my back gate open, as well as not returning my back patio furniture to where it should have been. I was advised to send a copy of the check stub that I had paid. He said he would take care of it.I followed up on Mar 29, and April 19th. On both occasions the General Manager seemed apologetic that the issue wasn't resolved. I followed up again on April 26th and was advised he had taken care of it himself and I'd receive a check 'any day'. I followed up again May 10, and June 12th, and didn't receive any response to those two most recent follow **** I am disappointed and feel let down after spending a large sum on a new roof. I had to tidy up post the crew more than I was expecting, but the most disappointing thing is I have folllowed up several time to my main point of contact who assured me he would take care of it.I would like a check for $270 as promised.Business response

Customer was contacted as soon as this item was seen. It appears there was a miscommunication with the customer in regards to the check that was generated from the bank. We have confirmed with the customer that the $270 was received via Zelle in their account. We are happy to report that this has been satisfied and the customer is happy with the resolution.Customer response

The issue required me to follow up to get them to come and look at the damage. They didnt come when they said they would. I had to call multiple times.
The money was finally received just last ******** post me reaching out to BBB after multiple promises to reimburse me.
The matter is now closed.
