This company was hired to replace roof in Feb and they did. Recently the roof started leaking from the bathroom fan in master bedroom. I have contacted the company several times. I spoke with a lady who said someone will be by to put a tarp on May 13 2024 till they can look at it. Its May 15 2024 and they have still not come. I have made several attempts to contact them by phone but no one answers the phone at business. I need help getting this rectified soon before I end up with more damage.

On Monday May 13th, 2024, our office administrator spoke to *********************** about getting him on the schedule for a tarp. The tarp installation was then scheduled for May 16th. There was no rain that week, so we scheduled the tarp installation as soon as we had an opening on the schedule.

The roof was completely repaired on June 4th. This day was requested by the customer, so that he could be home during the repair.

We have spoken with *********************** and he is completely satisfied with all of the work done on his home.

When we spoke with **************, he said that he was unaware he had made a complaint and would be happy to respond to let you know he is a happy customer.

      Thanks!

Hurricane ****** damage to my home. Company began repairs October 23 2023. They stopped repairs, according to the rep due to shortage of tin to repair my roof and left it for a few weeks without proper weather proofing. November there was a severe thunderstorm and it rained inside my house. New damage to my upstairs wall and downstairs ceiling, causing the tiles to rot and fall. The company apparently repairs the chimney however it does not look complete. Company is not taking responsibility for how it looks since it is no longer raining inside my house during a storm. I did not see any photos of my roof until this past Saturday. They are very bad at communication and the original roofer was fired since then and they suddenly have a new district manager who has not been responding to my calls after the initial conversation.

There was, due to the amount of damage in the region, shortages of material everywhere.  Customers were made aware of these shortages.

Weatherproofing was done as best as possible, however there was EXTENSIVE structural damage to the home due to the hurricane, and there was literally no way we could have done anything more than what we did.  This was the result of extreme weather conditions and there were houses with trees in the middle of them, and other catastrophic issues all over the area.  It is easy to look back and forget the situation on the ground during that time, but one only needs to ****** hurricane damage in ******** ** to see the scope of the disaster that happened.

November there was a severe thunderstorm and it rained inside my house. New damage to my upstairs wall and downstairs ceiling, causing the tiles to rot and fall.

We fully repaired all the damage from the severe thunderstorm and the customer approved the repairs.  We were unaware of the damage to the chimney until customer let us know in mid January-early February.  There had been a concern that the chimney might be a problem so we did what we could to repair it the best we could.  It did look like this might have been a problem even before the storm, but we always try to do whatever we can to correct anything we see.  This problem is not due to any work we did, but we agreed to fix it because she is demanding it and holding final payment as leverage.  We immediately called chimney experts to schedule repairs, and customer agreed to pay an additional amount for those repairs (which indicates that she realized this is outside the scope of work that was originally agreed to), and to remove the complaint from BBB for now, because the chimney contractors in ******** are very backed up with work from the storms.  We are pushing to get this completed as soon as possible.

As a stop/gap effort, we tried a quick fix on the chimney, which often works, but when the customer called to let us know things were not working to her satisfaction, the owner of the company contacted her and a resolution was reached, in which she would agree to suspend her complaint with the BBB, until we could get an accredited chimney contractor to repair her chimney.  We have followed up multiple times with the chimney contractor and they are supposed to be at the customers home to do the repairs Thursday or Friday of this week.

      Consumers Desired Resolution:
      Finish the Job

It is our goal to complete the job, and I dont know  if you have experience with catastrophic weather events, but we have an office in ********** ******* and we are STILL working on jobs from the damage on the ******* west coast from hurricane *** in 2022.  The damage done this past year in ******** is far more than can be handled by the local contractors and repairs can extend out literally years.  Everyone is scrambling to get the best contractors who are incredibly busy because of the sheer number of homes that were effected.  We are trying our best to stay in communication with every customer during this process, and, until we heard that our fix on her chimney wasnt working, we had no idea there was still a problem, and, as soon as she made us aware, we began to set up an accredited contractor to get over to her home.  It might be that we didnt contact her as quickly as we should have, but it is NOT the case that we didnt have communication with the chimney contractor, because we began to work on the job the same day we received her call, and have not stopped trying to set up a specific time to meet with the chimney repair contractor since.  We have periodically been in contact with the customer, and we understand why she might feel we are not working on this, but its difficult to get at it right away because there are still so many homes with horribly damaged chimneys in the area so we have to wait our turn.

      With regards,
