      I booked the hotel for one night to stay in Dahlonega for a friends wedding. We checked into the room and there were bugs everywhere. All over the walls, bathroom and the bed. I pulled the sheets back to check for bugs under the sheets and used one bar of soap to wash my hands after using the restroom. According to them that means the room was used fully and are refusing to give me my money back. After seeing the state of the room I went straight back to the office and told them I would not be staying there and gave them their cards back to the room and left. I booked through Booking.com and they have been trying to assist me in getting my money back but the hotel said they will only offer me a $90 refund out of the total $202.20 I spent on the room. I have also been in contact with PayPal who I used to pay for the room and opened a dispute with them as well for the charges. I tried calling the hotel to see if there was anything else that could be done but I was only met with hostility after only spending a total of maybe 20 minutes in the room.

      My wife and I booked this hotel for a weekend trip on October 16th for a stay on October 22nd & 23rd. We didn't receive a confirmation email nor text. We had to cancel due to vehicle trouble and work. I called on Thursday to cancel and was told "No problem, we will cancel for you". No one verified my email or text number at that time. Since, we didn't get a confirmation of the booking then we didn't think anything was out of the norm. On Saturday afternoon I was charged for both nights in the amount of $369.60. I immediately called and was told by the manager that they were busy and would call me back. Several hours went by with no phone call, so I called again, being told the same thing. I called back again for the 3rd time and was told they tried to call. I verified that they had an incorrect number. I was told, "we called and you did not answer so we gave your room away. I informed them that we had already canceled and I ask the company about a refund. I was told yet again to call back when the manager returned on Sunday. Sunday, October 24th, I called at 1107am, I was told to call back again at 12. I called at 12, was told they would call me back. No call was received, therfore, I called back again and got the manager. At this time, I explained to him that I was charged even though I canceled. The manager then asked for a cancelation number. I told him that I never received one at which time he began to argue with me that there was a cancelation # sent. I told him no. He said he could not and would not do anything to refund not even one day. I explained again the process I had already been through and tried to verify the number and /or email the cancelation was sent to. The manager kept arguing and things escalated. The company seems to do this often, often canceling, giving the run around, putting in incorrect information so they can charge double for a room if canceled. The ****** hung up on me and when I called back again he refuses to let me talk, explain.
