Nov 1 2021 our house flooded. We hired *** at Trinity Unlimited to do the remodel.The whole situation with this company was a nightmare. ***, the contractor, made empty promises through the entire process, and then rushed the project at the very end, only to give us horribly done hardwood floor refinishing. We moved into our house on January 5. On January 7th, I immediately started noticing that the hardwood floors did not seemed finished correctly. They started picking up stains, and I notified the contractor. He sent a flooring guy out to our house who quickly refinished those couple spots that had stained. At that point things seemed ok with the floors until January 18th. I threw a pile of laundry in front of our washing machine that night. I had cleaned something off of the couch with a damp towel and that was included with the laundry. When I got up on January 19th, I threw the load of clothes in the washing machine and noticed a cantaloupe sized black water stain on the hardwood floors. I immediately notified ***, and told him that there was a definite issue, and this proved it. He called me right away, and agreed that something is not right, that he always makes sure to provide quality work, and would send someone out to fix it. On Jan. 27th, **** wife **** came to our house with the floor contractors. They blamed me for the numerous stains on the floor, and refused to fix anything, even though I knew this was not right. We had a 2nd opinion contractor come from ********* LLC on Feb. 4th. This guy immediately noticed the floors were most definitely not sealed right, he said that the products that *** used were absolutely not what was used on our floors, and he said that we would need the floors completely refinished to fix the issues. We were given a $6k estimate that was sent to ***. We gave him until Feb 9th to come up with a plan to refinish the floors, or we would take further action. He completely ignored us. We need this fixed ASAP. Please help!
