I brought my vehicle into the dealership at the beginning of the month due to a loud clicking noise and service engine light. The service engine came on the day before the vehicle was checked into the shop. I initially thought my vehicle was under warranty, but I later found out it was not due to mileage. The service advisor ******* informed that the issue was #6 and 8 injectors and a broken power train. -He said the parts were on back order and it would take a while before they could start.-My vehicle already had a claim for body work due to vandalism, so it was taken to the body shop at the dealership for repairs.-A couple of weeks ago ******* called and said the parts were and the bodyshop is done. -I came picked my vehicle up a couple days afterwards.-After picking up on a Friday, I came back into the shop and informed ******* that the same ticking issue still existed.- ******* immediately informed me that I would be responsible for any cost associated with a repair.-I informed ******* that this should not be the case, I paid to have to the ticking noise fixed, but it is not.-I requested to speak to the service manager, who asked ******* to take my number and would call me back. -Almost two weeks have passed and no call back.I get the impression of attempting to be double charged for an issue I already paid to be fixed. When I asked why the ticking noise was not listed on the final paper, I got no response, the issue is listed as mechanical concern and service engine light. Maybe I am getting this type of service because I am on a fixed income, but regardless, my bill was paid in full and I don't think I should be charged twice for an issue I was told had been resolved.

******************** brought his vehicle in on 5/21/24. Upon arrival documentation shows only the concern for the check engine light there is no notation of the ticking noise at that time. The vehicle was diagnosed and found that the #6 and #8 fuel injectors had failed. When completing diagnoses of vehicle documentation shows that there was an estimate provided to ******************** for the ticking noise which was found to be "broken exhaust manifold bolts in the cylinder head on passenger side. Recommend extracting broken bolts and installing updated exhaust manifolds." along with other recommended services. Via text and email the estimate was viewed 3 times, and only the check engine light repair was approved in person. If ******************** wanted the ticking noise addressed he should have approved the repair, but he declined it. We are more than willing to fix his vehicle, but there is a price associated with that repair that he understood and declined.

      Complaint: 21907180

I am rejecting this response because: The statement suggests that I declined services, which is not accurate.  I authorized all work to be performed.  I informed the service advisor on multiple occasions that the primary reason the vehicle was brought due to the ticking noise on start up.  I just spoke with the service manager  (*******************) today 7-2-2024  at the dealership about this issue again.

Now I cannot get an oil change due to this ticking noise as shops consider this a liability and don't want to be responsible for this issue.  My oil change was declined at ******* 7-2-2024 in ********* for the ticking noise. *********** manager informed me that the cracked powertrain manifold was not repaired, which is the reason the vehicle is still ticking.  I asked why it was not fixed?  He said it was not approved.   When I asked who did not approve the work, he said could not see that information.

I informed him that I authorized the repairs for my vehicle and was quoted a price of a little of $3000 for the powertrain and #6 and 8 injectors or lifters.  *********** engine light came on a day before, but the primary issue was the ticking noise.

I set up my appointment throught the ram app which should clearly show that the clicking or ticking noise was the concern and stating the service engine light had just come on the day before.  I also asked ******* why the ticking noise was not listed on the paper work at pick up.  At no time did he advise or communicate the manifold or powertrain was not included in the repairs.  What he did say is that parts were on back order and that it may take a while to get them.

He called me and said everything was good to go and I could come pick up my vehicle.  I do not understand how the primary reason I brought my vehicle in for service was not fixed and now the dealership is saying they were not aware of this and now stating that I didn't approve the work to be done.

I just want my vehicle fixed, I payed for what I believed to be the repair of my issues, but now being told weeks after that it wasn't and now I have to pay again for what should have already been fixed.  I have attached a copy of the declined service statement due to ticking noise from walmart.

The amount for both repairs needed in total for the check engine light (fuel injector issue) and the cracked exhaust manifold (ticking issue) was a grand total of $3812.58. The amount approved, paid, and signed by the customer was only for the check engine light repair totaling in the amount of $1269.25. The exhaust manifold repair was declined and service for that issue was not provided or paid for. Please see previously attached for approval and denial.

I am rejecting this response because: The statement suggests that I declined services, which is not accurate.  I authorized all work to be performed.  I informed the service advisor that the primary reason the vehicle was brought in was due to the ticking noise on start up.  I just spoke with the service manager  (*******************) today 7-2-2024  at the dealership about this issue again.   He also brought up the total balance that the dealership states the fix would cost.  I have explained repeatedly that I was quoted a price for all work, and made multiple payments.  Each time a payment was made, I asked what my balance was and the balance continually decreased.  At no time was I ever informed that a service that was recommended or quoted had be removed.

Now I cannot get an oil change due to this ticking noise as shops consider this a liability and don't want to be responsible for this issue.  My oil change was declined at ******* 7-2-2024 in ********* for the ticking noise. *********** manager at Paulding Dodge informed me that the cracked powertrain manifold was not repaired, which is the reason the vehicle is still ticking.  I asked why it was not fixed?  He said it was not approved.   When I asked who did not approve the work, he said could not see that information.

I informed him that I authorized the repairs for my vehicle and was quoted a price of a little over $3000 for the powertrain and #6 and 8 injectors or lifters.  *********** engine light came on a day before, but the primary issue was the ticking noise.

I set up my appointment through the ram app which should clearly show that the clicking or ticking noise was the concern and stating the service engine light had just come on the day before.  I also asked ******* why the ticking noise was not listed on the paper work at pick up.  He has it listed as mechanical concerns and did not accurately capture the issue.  At no time did he advise or communicate the manifold or powertrain was not included in the repairs.  What he did say is that parts were on back order and that it may take a while to get them.  This was communicated when I brought my vehicle in for service.

When ******* called me and said everything was good to go and I could come pick up my vehicle, the expectation was everything was good to go.  I do not understand how the primary reason I brought my vehicle in for service was not fixed and now the dealership is saying they were not aware of this and now stating that I didn't approve the work to be done.

I just want my vehicle fixed, I paid for what I believed to be the repair of my issues.  Someone failed to communicate both in the documentation and the customer. I understand that whoever is reporting here can only report what is written in the documentation.  The issue is not acknowledging that the documentation does not accurately reflect the customer's reason for bringing the vehicle in or expectations.    I can't control what was written in this documentation, I can only tell you what I asked for and what was told to me.  I have done this to the best of my ability.

This is not a personal attack on Paulding Dodge Ram dealership.  I am not seeking deals or special privileges.  The details of my repairs and issues were not accurately communicated and documented.  This is the reason I am not satisfied, and did not get my issue resolved.  This should not be an acceptable practice.  All I want is what the repairs that I was told I paid for.

I have attached a copy of the declined service statement due to ticking noise from *******.

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Paulding Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram located in Dallas, **. I believe I have been misled and unfairly treated regarding the *** insurance policy I purchased when financing a used 2018 *** from Paulding Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in April 2023.On April 2023, I financed a 2018 *** for $48,000 from Paulding Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The Finance Manager strongly recommended that I purchase *** insurance through TWS ************** explaining that in the event of a total loss, the *** insurance would cover the cost of the car.During the paperwork signing process, I was not provided with a booklet or any detailed information to review the fine print of the *** insurance policy. I was simply presented with the loan documents showing the dollar amount spent on the vehicle purchase, which I signed based on the Finance Manager's assurances. In June 2023, I was involved in an accident on I-75 where another motorist hit me, resulting in my vehicle being totaled. My primary insurance company paid the actual cash value of the car to Ally, the loan company. I was under the impression, based on the information provided at the time of purchase, that the *** insurance would cover the remaining balance of the car loan.TWS ************* informed me that their policy only covers a percentage of the vehicle's value and not the remaining balance of the loan. As a result, I now have an outstanding balance of $10,083 with Ally.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and assistance in resolving this complaint.Sincerely,*******************************

My name is ************************* and I am writing about my recent purchase of a used Jeep Wrangler vin number ***************** from Paulding Chrysler dodge jeep ram in January 2024. Despite numerous attempts at finding a solution and as of May 9th, I have yet to receive my tag. The dealership sold me a used vehicle without properly completing the emission and I have no tag. I am away for work as a radiation therapist and have legal obligations to complete my contract and cannot by any means leave to complete a 20 minute process that the entire staff of Paulding Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram failed to properly handle.Besides the tag situation I feel it is now appropriate to mention the other areas of my dissatisfaction. I was lied to about the usage of cigarettes in the vehicle, when asked the salesperson said it was a smoke-free car. After leaving and running the *** the cigarette odor was obvious and potent. Upon close inspection I found many cigarette ***** on the carpet hidden under the mats. I was also lied to by the salesperson on scratches that could be buffed out not sure why but again I trusted the salesman. Lastly, there was a crack on the windshield strategically covered with a sticker placed by the dealership staff. I understand that as salesmen their objective is a sale but lying by omission and empty promises are horrendous and unethical practices that I did not expect from this dealership. It is now May 9th and I have emailed ***************************** the sales manager letting him know the *** cannot provide assistance as they stated the dealership should have been in charge of the emissions/tag. On top of all the communication attempts, I am currently having to find other means of transportation due to having expired tags. The anguish, uncertainty, and frustration from this used vehicle purchase has been extremely overwhelming and all due to negligence and now lack of solutions from the dealership.

******************** has been made aware for months now that this vehicle has to pass emissions in the state that is been titled, and by law it's has to be registered to the buyer this case is his father his license is in fact a Ga license.

The vehicle has to come to Ga to pass emissions in order to process plates. we understand circumstances change and the vehicle is now in ********** unfortunately the state of ******* will Not accept California emissions.

We want to help with this situation and unfortunately there is nothing the state will do, according to Motor vehicle division if a vehicle is going to be residing in another state longer than ******************************* that state. we consider that option

as well, however his father is the only person on the loan that was also not an option. The only way to fix it is to bring vehicle to Ga and do emissions since the registered owner Driver License is in the state of Ga.

we will help the customer by reimbursing his gas upon receiving receipts to help with the expense of coming to GA.

      Complaint: 21690345

I am rejecting this response because:

********************* has finally given a solution that, unfortunately, is much more complex than it sounds. Firstly, the circumstances did not spontaneously change as the staff at CDJR was made aware of my contract in ********** from the day the used vehicle was purchased.

According to Georgia Law, all sellers of gasoline-powered cars and light-duty trucks (***** pounds gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) or less), regardless if they are a private party, dealership or auctioneer, must sell a vehicle with a current, valid passing Georgia Vehicle Emission Inspection Report (VIR) if the buyer is going to register the vehicle in one of the 13 metro Atlanta counties: ********, *******, ****, ******, ******, *******, *******, *******, ******, ********, *****, Paulding or ********. Even if the vehicle is sold outside of these counties.

It is more than apparent that CDJR staff broke law 391-3-20-.18 and now I am provided with an option that is not a simple 10 minute drive to receive an emission that should have been done months ago but rather a minimum five-day trip. The gasoline reimbursement is not sufficient. Aside from the monetary aspect, I have a legal obligation to several patients who have scheduled their treatment well in advance and I cannot breach this contract.
Furthermore, the proposed drive would increase the mileage on the vehicle which would decrease the value when I try and trade it in. I do thank you for the solution and see it as progress, however, the only logical alternative would be if ********************* paid for a transport company to transport the car to ** to obtain the emission his dealership failed to do so in February.

Regarding the registration of the vehicle in **********, this is a proposal that will not work. As a requirement is a California residency and I do not have that. In my line of work, the employment contracts specify that I must remain a Georgia resident and
as formerly mentioned in the GA law, the used vehicle was purchased to be registered in ************

I first initiated contact with Paulding in October to co-sign for a car. Without my knowledge, my co-signer was removed from the application, thus making me the sole party to the loan without my consent. Throughout the financing process, I was left completely in the dark by the sales manager and the finance team. I then received a call from the sales manager who proceeded to coach me on what to say to the bank financing the loan; I was told to provide fraudulent information to the bank in order to secure the loan. When I expressed severe discomfort with this, Paulding insisted that everything was above board, though all previous contact and behavior proved otherwise. Ultimately, I decided to back out of this deal. This was over a month ago. Since then, Paulding has proceeded to dodge my calls and the pattern of a lack in transparency has continued. They have since stalled the process in returning my deposit. The fraudulent and unscrupulous behavior exhibited by their employees must be stopped.

Dear BBB I am writing to express my concern regarding my 2022 Jeep Compass and the extensive repairs it requires. I have recently discovered that my vehicle needs approximately $20,000 worth of work to restore it to proper working condition.I purchased the Jeep Compass in November of 2021 with high hopes of enjoying a reliable and durable vehicle. However, within a short period of time, I started experiencing various issues, including the cooling systems, transmission ,and engine. These problems have not only caused inconvenience but also posed safety risks.I have diligently followed the recommended maintenance schedule and taken care of the vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. It is disheartening to face such extensive repairs on a relatively new vehicle. I believe that these issues are indicative of manufacturing or design defects rather than normal wear and tear.I have contacted the authorized dealership, where I purchased the vehicle, and they have provided me with an estimate of $20,000 to address the necessary repairs. Given the relatively young age of the vehicle and the cost of the repairs, I find this situation unacceptable.I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. I believe that the manufacturer should take responsibility for these issues and cover the cost of the necessary repairs. I have attached all relevant documentation, including invoices, service records, and the estimate provided by the dealership.I would greatly appreciate any support or guidance you can offer in this situation. Please let me know if there are any additional steps I should take or any further information you require to proceed with my case.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution.Sincerely,******************* ************

unfortunately, that is all they are willing to do. we did relate that to the customer. thank you for reaching out, let us know if you have additional questions.

I took my Jeep for compressor repair 24 months ago, I was charged for a new compressor and labor and was told it was repaired. A few months ago, I noticed my air was not working . I finally able to take it back to the dealership who performed a diagnostic and confirmed again that the compressor was not working and needed to be repaired/replaced, total cost would be ******* . I requested to speak to a manager because the new compressor I purchased from them 24 months ago should not have gone out in 24 months with less than 10m additional miles out on the Jeep. I was not given a reason as to how or why a brand new part would fail within 2 years. The dealership essentially i feel did not put a new compressor on my Jeep 2 years ago or either the mechanic that performed the labor did not go a theory job. I spoke to the manager who basically said tough luck. I will be speaking to an attorney because this will cost my additional money even though its clear the dealership fault. Its fraud at this point as they charged me compressor repair that was t repaired.

just like ******************* ( service manager ) explained to ******************* we showed him the documentation we in FACT installed a brand-new compressor, from Chrysler now stellantis and we waived his diagnostic fee. mileage was 121,110  came back  8/25/23   In good faith we waived diagnostic fee. there is 2 current issues his radiator and compressor.  also, a 2014 JEEP GR CHEROKEE with ******* in order for a vehicle to run in great form it is recommended to visit a factory dealer minimum 3 times a year for routine checkups.

since his initial visit 02/27/2021 we have not seen this vehicle or customer at our Dealership.

The salesman ******************* took my personal information and used it for his personal reasons. I currently have 3 hard inquiries on my credit for no reason, I did not authorize for *******************, *****, ******, nor the financing department to utilize my personal information. According to **********************, Financing fraud. When processing your loan application, a dishonest dealer may claim that your credit score is too low to qualify for low-interest financing and convince you to agree to unfavorable terms. Always know your own credit score before applying for a loan so you know where you stand. You can also secure a loan from a credit union or bank instead of the dealership. When I asked for a supervisor, the salesmen (***** and ******) stated there is no General Manager available. I asked for the General Manager's name (they gave the fictitious name *********************) and no contact information. No one would provide the requested information. This company is using unfair sales practices, according to **********************: Auto fraud can occur at virtually any point in the car buying process. Common stages at which auto fraud occurs include the following:Advertising Negotiation of the vehicle price Negotiation of the financial terms for the purchase or lease Auto fraud also comes in many different forms. Some of the more common techniques used in an auto dealer fraud scam include the following:Bait and switch advertising practices Deceptive inflation of a vehicles price Failing to disclose information about a vehicle Misrepresentation about the interest rate you were approved for by the lender the dealer "shopped" your proposal to The dealership "shopped" my information and I now have a hard inquires on my credit score, which has lowered my credit score. I also talked to salesperson ***** over the phone on 03/30 and he said he was going to check with accounting because he thought they mailed out a check instead of reversing the transaction, but he didn't call back.I then called accounting on 04/03 and he said he would check with the salesperson and call me right back, but he never did. Then I called again on 04/06 and spoke to ****** in accounting, I told him accounting didn't call me back and he said again that he would check with sales and call me back, but never called back.I also sent a chat via the dealership's website on 04/07 trying to get the email address to email them, but they didn't provide me with it. Instead, the chat rep collected my information and said she would get someone to contact me, see chat screens attached. There was no contract and there are no receipts because there was never any purchase made. They need to refund me the $2,000.00 back to my cards immediately because these transactions are accumulating up to 29% interest. They have kept my $2,000 for over a month now and with interest, that is $2,580.00.
