I contacted Chasteen Plumbing on Tue April 30 about a water leak at my house. Made an appointment for the next day (wed). ********* came to look at the problem. Was not at home at the time but my mother was. Recieved a call from the gentleman saying my problem was a leaking water heater and that he could replace it at a price of around $1700. Being desperate to solve this problem I told him to go ahead and he did replace my 50 gal water heater.That night when I reached home I noticed that I still had a water leak at the base of my water heater. Thinking it was excess water I cleaned it up. The next morning I went back and water was still leaking. The problem was not fixed!I contacted Chasteen and spoke with ******* and explained my situation. She said she would contact the plumber and see if he could stop by in the afternoon and finish the job. She called me later in the morning to let me know that he would not in fact be stopping by and recommended for me to contact Tidal Wave Response, which is a damage restoration company and get a quote from them. Based on our conversation I would be responsible for that cost as well. That made completely no sense to me as I don't need damage restoration I needed my water leak problem which I paid $1,727.11 for to be fixed. I need to either have the problem fixed or get a full refund so that I can hire another company to do the job.I feel totally conned and taken advantage of and to add insult to injury to recommend someone else to take more money from me.
