  On Jan 16, 2023,I booked a service a month in advance with this salon. They required a deposit of $52. I wanted a specific style ( Smedium Knotless box braids with Goddess throughout synthetic hair) so I messaged the business to make sure I was booking correctly. I was told that the specific hairstyle I wanted could be booked as an add on. When I went to book the style the add on wasnt listed. After I booked and submitted my deposit, I contacted the salon to confirm I had the correct style so there wouldnt be any same day modifications. They told me there would be a new total of $315. This was significantly higher than whats advertised on their website for the exact style I want ($210 + $55 for add on). They decided to charge me another new deposit. I kindly asked them to cancel my appointment since I felt I was being charged unfairly higher than whats advertised on their website.

  Hi this customer can not count. There was only 2 deposit she changed the style which resulted in a higher cost.

  The would be client does not understand the site that clearly shows prices and states what can & can not be done. There is no bamboozling as all the prices are clearly listed out for the clients & the clients lack of comprehension is the result they are upset not us. 
  
  You changed your style from the Tuesday special to regular knotless. As it states on the Tuesday special there are no modifications anything else results to full charge of service. The goddess add on isnt even under the Tuesday special since clients can not add it to the special since its not apart of the special. We did not charge you twice for a deposit since its impossible. 
  Tuesday special break down 
  $250- $50 deposit (yours) = original balance $200 
  Regular smedium knotless $210+ waist $50+synthetic throughout $55= $315 - $50 (the same deposit booked is applied to this style no such thing as second deposit) = balance $265. As stated you changed the style meaning its a higher price as shown on the site.

  I went yesterday for braids. I did not receive what I requested. I contacted the owner as well as sent pictures and this is the response I received. My hair is red and inflamed from the weight of these braids and this is the response that I received from the salon :If your scalp is turning red not sure if its because of the weight of the braids but its standard for us to add more hair the bigger braid itd be lighter if the braids werent medium - so maybe youre having a reaction to the actual braiding hair being synthetic. The braids are knotless as there is no knot I understand some Braiders add braiding hair farther down the braid but we use the technique of braiding the clients hair and adding the hair more up to provide more longevity.
