ChatGPT In the midst of planning my 2023 wedding, my wedding coordinator suggested Ever After Bridal Atlanta for my five bridesmaids' dresses. We visited the store on 4/8/2023, where the owner, despite arriving late, demonstrated thoroughness and knowledge. Satisfied with our experience, we were keen to support her business, particularly as she was a black woman. However, issues arose during the dress ordering process.The owner insisted on ordering by the following week for July delivery, aligning with my September wedding. Post-ordering, chaos ensued; the lack of a coherent system, inaccurate information, and disorganization became apparent. My bridesmaids never received confirmation, contracts, or policies. Each paid $265 for their dresses. Attached is the receipt they received with nothing else. Unfortunately, on June 5, 2023, we had to postpone our wedding but planned to use the dresses for a future celebration. Concerns arose due to disorganization and lack of communication.Despite pushing for a July delivery, by the end of the month, we had no updates. Upon inquiry, the owner informed us of a delay due to an issue with the vendor's thread, unrelated to our bridal party. Frustrated by the lack of notification, I sought a resolution. We considered changing colors but decided against it. Opting for a refund, the owner initiated the process, but it quickly became problematic.The owner provided instructions for the bridesmaids, who followed them diligently. However, communication from her end dwindled, leaving me to follow up multiple times over a course of 4 months. After threatening legal action, she responded, asserting that refunds were only given as a courtesy, citing policies we never received. This serves as my formal complaint against Ever After Bridal Atlanta, detailing the disorganized process, lack of communication, and the struggle to obtain refunds, highlighting the need for transparency and improved customer service.
