I signed up for the monthly membership. I had a family emergency pop up and couldn't go. I continued to pay my fees for months without issue. I reached out to cancel but kept getting a voicemail. I finally got in touch with someone and explained my situation. I had to go in person to cancel. Okay. Then I got covid. I called and let them know. They still asked me to go in person to cancel even though I had covid. They said I needed to pass Friday, the latest, so that the cancellation can go through before the next billing cycle. I did. Well, my card got charged. I was dealing with my father dying of cancer. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Didn't hear anything again until I received one email stating I owed $205. Then another for $504. When I called I was told that my cancellation was never processed. Also, they will not honor the exemption for the 30 day cancellation notice that was promised by their employee because she wasn't the manager. How is that my problem? They said they would process my cancellation and speak to the owner. That was over 2 weeks ago. I'm still getting charged. I researched and Club Pilates has been sued before due to membership cancellation issues.
