    On October 19, 2021, I scheduled a soft locs 24 in hair appointment for October 25, 2021 at 12:30 pm with Envy My Look ATL. The owner is Kiara Tompkins, and unlicensed cosmetologist . On October 25, 2021 6:00 am, Kiara texted me saying that she has to push back my appointment back by 2 hours. I then showed up to her salon at 2:30 pm. During my appointment she left twice to get more hair from the beauty supply store which added an extra two hours onto my service. Also, because I booked a week in advance, she should have had already had the supplies needed to do my hair. After she came back from the store from the second time, she stated that "The store didn't have any more packs of hair in the color we're doing". Because she did not have any more hair, she had to do half of my head in a different color which is not what I wanted. At the end of my appointment, Kiara offered $30.00 off of my $240.00 invoice. I paid her $190.00 cash then $20.00 through apple pay. After I got home from my appointment, I noticed that my hair was beginning to unravel and she missed two braids. My hair looked completely different from when I had left her hair salon. I requested that she refunded me atleast half of the money because I had to take the entire style out of my head and completely redo it, which cost me more money. She refused to give me any of my money back. I would like a refund.

    I reached out to the owner *************************** via Instagram for the ************ for $295 for my beach wedding. I sent her a DM stating that I wanted my hair to look like the picture because most stylists are not truthful about their work and she replied it would be right. My Apt was 04/16/2023 at 9:30 am and she was almost an hour late due to flat tire. She said she would give me a free touch-up and take down for being late. I sent her a picture on the day of my wedding with a few of the locs coming loose. When I returned back to GA I went to her to redo the loose locs. I contacted her on 06/11/2023 for my free touch-up and would pay for the wash, and booked for 06/17/2023, however she stated there was a fire to the location and she was cancelling appointments for that day, however she told me the WASH would be free due to the inconvenience. We agreed and I booked on 06/20/2023 at 9:00 am and paid a $25.00 deposit. I arrived at 9:00 am and DM'd her to let her know and she replied she was 10 mins away and never showed up. I sent her 2 messages just to make sure she was ok and she never replied. I waited with my autistic son in the car for over an hour. My child was getting agitated with the wait so we left the location. I reached out to her again via Instagram DM to refund me the deposit and she still never replied. My co-worker reached out to her for a hairstyle the day that she was a no-show for me and she replied to her the next morning that she can do her ************. I made the decision to take her to small claims court for the charge of the original style, gas money, and the free services that she offered me and refuse to perform at this time. She did not have to offer me free services in the first place that was her method of satisfying the client. If she did not want to do my hair she should have said so instead of wasting my time. I have all DM's from our conversations.
