On July 16th 2022 i pulled up in a unsullied and I rented a room for a week at a rate of ******. My fiance and I put some of our thing my tv computer out work clothes and some heirlooms. We left returned haul and I picked up my work Dump Truck. I dropped my fianc off at work at 8pm and I went to the room. Im really upset at this time. Im sitting on side of the bed writing in my journal and praying. About 10pm I laid across bed reading the news and I started scratching itching really bad I jumped up took cover off bed and to see what was biting me and low and behold its freaking bed bugs in the bed. I killed one I grabbed my purse took pics and ran out of there. I found security I told him what happened he said he would go tell other security guard. He came back said after office is closed there is nothing I can do no one u can call or anything. Said property manager couldnt do anything either and in the morning I could talk to someone. I said Im getting in my dump truck and Im leaving. Thats what I did. My man doesnt get off until 6am so I went back to my other hotel to sleep bc my week wasnt up until Sunday. Picked my man up we went to the hotel at **** spoke with the manager he says do I want another room or money back we decided money back. He says he going to do some calculations and return remaining balance. We all went to room he manager sees bed bugs in bed. The flip bed serve or whatever. We left to go get another room in my dump truck I get settled I called the manager to ask what adjustments he is trying to figure out he says he is charging me for 1 day I tell him no one stayed in the room he lies and says yes somebody did bc the bed was dirty. I said yes it was dirty with bed bugs on it because I never got into the bed or covers. He kept up his lie and I asked for a number for corporate he says he doesnt have it. He withdrew the ****** out of my account and 4 days later nothing no monies in my account no sign of no money coming back.Initial Complaint

I attempted to rent a weekly room at the facility. I did necessary requirement reserving the room. I was relocating from ********,** to *******,**. I had to pack up my apartment. I signed the paperwork. The paperwork states a no pay no stay requirement. The room was vacated by another tenant on the day of my payment. The housekeeping and maintenance cleaning the room. The room had roaches on the bed. I communicated that I would be back. I returned and was unable to access the room. I disputed the charge on my card due to not staying in the room. My bank returned the money. However, the bank informed me that I lost my claim. The management informed me that these properties are independently owned and that theyre is no proof that I did not stay in the room. I have proof that I did not stay at the property. Im reaching out because I dont know what else to do all of the points of access or directly to this person. He has informed me that theres nothing that he can do and he has no proof that I did not stay there. I need help!
