I filed my taxes and received less than what's on my return and then my state is missing which was sent in February. I called my state tax office and read my account and routing numbers and they said they were incorrect and that the tax service direct deposit information was on my tax return. Please send me my money.Business response

Hello and awesome day!
I am sorry to hear of the misunderstanding between one of our clients, *************************. I have gone through her client folder and have attached detailed documents from the time we were able to service *****************:
On January 28, 2023 we started a return for ***************** which she was to initially receive $3,263.00 for federal, $314 from state of Virginia, $77 from ****************.
****** was given a $300 advance from ATC Income Tax as well as a $250 advance from **************** ************ Her filing fees totaled $614.90, please see attachment for fee details. Upon adding the two approved Refund Advances, **************** fees totaled to $914.90. This amount would be reimbursed from any filed refunds received. Upon completion of the tax preparation, bank advance applications, and approvals it was explained to **************** at the time of filing that these amounts will be paid via refunds. (see page **** of attached document). Per the tax preparer, **************** agreed to the terms and conditions and choose to sign the forms to proceed with the process. All appropriate were photocopied for our files, and the originals were given back to ****************. In addition to the original documents, **************** was also given the terms and conditions of filing via the refund along with the terms for receiving advances. upon the *** processing, it was determined that ****** had a debt of $149.41 and they released $3,113.59. (see document)
**************** received $3,113.59 on 2/18/23. The state of Virginia released her refund of $314 and $63 for the state of Georgia refund and a charge of $14 is added to the fee for each disbursement processed. (see information attached). After further review, it was determined that all funds were allocated and paid appropriately to **************** account.

Filed my taxes with the Riverdale location on the 18th I just checked my tax paperwork and I can see how the Tax Preparer by the name of ***************************** put my social security number down as my account number she also added extra digits I wrote my routing and account information down on the client data sheet when I first came and she asked me to write it down on a piece of paper to make sure it was right she put some bogus routing number any number and made up an account number and added my social security number to it I have called the office for two days nobody's answering at the direct lines or answering at the call center I've also emailedBusiness response

Spoke to **************** in regards to the account information on her tax paperwork. It was explained to **************** that since she opted to have the bank and prep fees paid directly through her refund that the funds would have to go to MetaBank for processing first. MetaBank in turn set up a temporary account specifically for **************** that includes her social security number, which she saw on her paperwork. Once her refund is received into that account it would be forwarded to her bank account she provided us with minus the bank and prep fees. This was explained to **************** and she understood the process.Customer response

I file my taxes with these people feb 8 its goin on April they cant tell me nothing the say call the irs and thats the problem I pay them money to handle this and they just take your money and dont do they job they need to be shut downBusiness response

************** refunded was held by the *** and has been scheduled in be received March 23rd. The *** does not disclose information regarding delays to anyone but the taxpayer. We have reached out to ************** in regards to his refund.
