***************************** Purchased and financed a 2015 *** X3 from Olympic Auto Sales on 02/25/2022. The vehicle had ****** miles when sold and was in great condition and fully serviced before sale. The vehicle also cam with a 3 year warranty to protect the customer from any mishaps. On 6/21/2022 customer called and said she took her vehicle to a *** mechanic shop and they said she needed an engine and would cost her around $13,000. We decided to step in and help, so we had the vehicle taken to another mechanic shop that confirmed that the engine has seized. They also confirmed that vehicle was not serviced since the purchase. Customer did not take care of her vehicle. They were able to give her a discount because we have a good relationship with the mechanic shop and wanted to help her out, they quoted $9500. We also called in her warranty company to help out and they agreed to cover portion of the engine , also with our help. Customer needs to understand that it is her vehicle and her responsibility to maintain her vehicle and keep up with her payments on the account . She still owes a large portion of the finance portion and has a vehicle that is broken because she did not take care of her vehicle or her account. We are still willing to help the customer out with getting the mechanics to fix her vehicle and the warranty company to cover part of the damages so she can get back into her vehicle and drive. Our company stands behind its products and quality of vehicles , we have been in business for over 13 years and our vehicles are all warrantied because of the quality we sell all but a few customers ever have problems with our used vehicles. Sometimes mishaps happen but we cannot be penalized for the incompetence of very few customers who are unwilling to take care of their vehicles. Again we are here to help get her vehicle fixed if the customer takes initiative .

Last year September 2021, I purchased a 2015 Audi Q7 from Decatur Olympic Auto Sales, in which I was super excited. I put down $5,700 and monthly payments was nearly $900 a month but I was willing to pay whatever cost to own the car of my dreams. Within 2 months of having the truck, it had an oil leak. I went to the dealership about it because the car was barely driven due to me working from home so I was confused as to why it had this leak. They told me the car is sold as is and they cant determine what will happen after a vehicle is driven a few times. I was pissed! But I paid to get it fixed and the dealership gave me a $200 credit off my payment. I sucked it up and dealt with it. Now here we are 6 months later and the transmission is not Responding to the computer due to water backing up into the car from outside rain which Ive never heard of before. And its also reading an ABS code. The people at the repair shop is literally telling me the transmission is sitting in ************ have to do a 10hr diagnostic which I have to pay upfront before they can even submit anything to the warranty. Olympic knew the truck wasnt right from the start! This is wrong on all accounts. I feel tricked out of my money, deceived, and emotionally distressed.

      Hello *******:

We are sorry you are having trouble with your vehicle but please do not penalize Olympic Auto Sales immediately before looking at the whole picture. You purchased the vehicle on 9/16/2021 , during your purchase we explained to you that you have a 3 year full coverage warranty with a third part called *************. You also have GAP insurance your loan, this is why your payments are a little higher than average because of all the benefits that come with financing with us. All our vehicles are pre inspected and of highest quality before a sale, we also gave you the option to take it to any mechanic shop to inspect it your self because we stand behind the quality of our used vehicles. Now once you purchased it we explained to you that used vehicles need to be regularly serviced,  you need to check how many miles you are driving and then take it when it hits its servicing point. A service on Audis need to be on point and they are your responsibility since you own the vehicle. If you do not service your vehicle and something goes wrong like your transmission going out that means the warranty will not cover it because of your negligence. Now you are saying that 9 months of driving the Audi Q7 nothing was wrong with the transmission, then suddenly last week your transmission went out, in those 9 months did you have your transmission serviced ? Did the mechanic shop you took it too tell you where the water came from? Transmissions are either working or they are not, it seems that your vehicle was flooded if the electronics on the transmission went out, did you leave your sunroof or windows open when it rained ? Did someone spill something in the vehicle dashboard? You cannot blame our dealership for things that are out of our control after being sold. We can only guarantee that our vehicles are in excellent shape when sold, but we cannot control our customers negligence in not doing the services or mistakes like flooding the vehicle with water.

In addition the finance company says you have defaulted on your payment on your vehicle as well. It seems to us that you have not held up any responsibility since you purchased the vehicle.

Now all that being said we have a good relationship with the warranty company and we can pull a few strings in your favor and get your transmission warrantied. We will do that because we are a respectable company that helps out its customers in any way it can. But our hands are tied if you are defaulted on your payment and you refuse to give the go ahead to your mechanic shop to inspect your vehicle so they can file the warranty. Please help yourself first so we can then help you in return.

Contact us anytime if you need any further help or clarification.

We wish you the best of luck !

I bought a 2015 Tahoe on December 4, 2021 as a Christmas gift for my fiance. Everything was fine until December 20, 2021. My fiance was driving with our children and as she was driving. Her motor started making a loud ticking noise, the check engine light came on, and she couldn't go past 15mph. She pulled over and cut the truck off. She waited 5 minutes before restarting the Tahoe. Once she did that the check engine light came back on then it started to flash. The ticking noise got even louder and white smoke started to come out the tail pipes. She was stuck on the side of the road in 40 weather with our 1 year old and our 5 year old. I had to tow the Tahoe to **** in ********, GA. Once the specialist ( Mechanic for ******************************, that specializes in chevorlet) tried to drive it he knew what that problem. The lifters and headers went out and he told me that the motor is gone. I was sold a lemon and it has only been three weeks. I contacted Olympic Auto Sale to notifie them about the problem and they were no help. They are not willing to fix it or help. They have been giving me the run around and I was not offered a third party warranty. ****************** told me that a warranty was added to the contract when I was at the car lot and I went over it and I let him know there was no warranty added to the contract. Once I contacted ****************** about the motor he was willing to work something out, but his sales manager *********************** is not willing to help in no way. I feel this dealership knows that they sale lemons (bad car) to customers and they aren't willing to help. I want to warn all people about this car lot. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CAR LOT. They do not care about thier customers or safety. BUYERS BEWARE.

This is the official response to ******* Parish complaint and here are the facts.
*************************** bought a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, VIN: ***************** on 12/4/21 from Olympic Auto Sales.
The contract and Sales Manager disclosed the Main Terms:
      Option to Inspect the vehicle
*************************** was given the option to inspect the vehicle before purchasing it.

At the time of purchase Olympic Auto Sales suggested to *************************** to purchase a warranty from ***************** he accepted and is now covered under the agreed terms with a third party warranty company that will deal with the customer directly. Any issues with the vehicle will be only handled with the warranty company.

At Olympic Auto Sales all our vehicles go through an inspection to make sure we sell the highest quality used vehicles to our customers. We have been in business for over 12 years and we rarely see any problems with our vehicles. The times problems occur are either because a part malfunctioned and the customer did not do their due diligence to maintain it and fix the issue before it got worse.

Engines do not break down out of no where especially on Tahoe's, something must have happened within those 3 weeks while driving and the issue was not addresses and cause sever damage to an engine. It is physically impossible to sell a Chevrolet Tahoe with a bad engine to begin with and then the symptoms show up after 3 weeks. Please ask your mechanic and they can confirm that it was not sold in this condition.

As well please contact the third party warranty and they will investigate what happened to the vehicle, it is possible but rare that the engine just malfunctioned and if that is the case the warranty company will pay for the fix. Please do not penalize Olympic Auto Sales for something that is out of our control especially that we only sell great functioning cars at the time of sale.

If Kenneth  has further concerns he is more than welcome to contact us directly and we can still be of assistance in helping him deal with the warranty company.
