I ordered a trailer built by ROCK SOLID CARGO from STEW’s TRAILERS. It’s 24x8.5 with extended Vnose The front pulldown door with the black out package costing me almost $15,000. This trailer is completely unacceptable the supports that are in the sidewalls two support the roof and structure of the trailer are all different lengths and a 90% of them do not support the roof at all they were cut too short multiple inches too short. All of the structural welding is not completed only tacks. The bolts that hold all of the suspension and R barely finger tight ends somebody thought welding the nut on the back side before tightening everything down was a good idea now all of the bolts need to be cut off reinstalled torqued down to specs. All of the flooring where the seams come together are all at different heights causing a tripping hazard. The safety chains were tacked on so bad by tapping them with an adjustable wrench the ring fell off. All of the wiring is ran through all jagged and razor shop metal with no grommet to stop the wiring from chafing and cutting. The trailer is brandnew 10 miles if it’s lucky and the wiring is already starting to art out because of the sharp edges. Multiple screw holes around the top perimeter of the trailer that don’t have any screws in them 2 missed screw holes in the actual roof YES THE ROOF! I use my trailers to transport motorcycles I had put two motorcycles in the nose of the trailer seeing that it was not instructed properly after I had put the two bikes in the nose I try to pull down that front/side door and the door was stuck to the point when I opened it finally pulled away some of the siding because the frame started to twist causing the door to rub against the actual door jam so tight that when I opened it finally it popped and overlap the trailer. I spoke with **** and I did as he asked god quotes both places laughed at me and said this trailer needs to be disassembled and built properly only thing I want is my money back!!Business response

The customer purchased the trailer from one of our dealers and had it delivered to him in Rhode Island. The customer is requesting a complete refund. The dealer is the one who sold him the trailer as we are simply the manufacturer we do not sell directly to the public. I have contacted the dealer and had he rejected it at time of delivery, they would have given him a full refund and sold the trailer to someone else. That is no longer an option because he has installed e-track in the floor and some things on the walls of the trailer and also pulled it from Rhode Island to bike week in Daytona Beach, FL so the trailer has now been used which prevents him from having the option of a refund. The customer sent in videos to the person who handles our warranty claims. Our warranty states that the trailers have to be brought back to our facility at the customer's expense and we will remedy any warranty defects. He does have a couple of warranty issues that could be addressed. They are fairly simple fixes and could be done in a reasonable amount of time. We even offered for him to take it to a local shop and get an estimate to have the repairs done locally and if it was reasonable, we would pay it to keep him from having to drive down to Georgia. He never got back with us on an estimate and claims that no one wants to do the warranty work locally. He states in his complaint that it would be lucky to make it 10 miles but yet he drove it all the way to Daytona Beach, FL? We suggested since he was coming through to Florida to bring it by on his way to Florida and we would look at it and get it fixed, which he didn't do. Some of the claims that he makes in the complaint are simply not accurate and he doesn't understand how trailers are constructed as they are not going to cause any issues. Also, after talking with the dealer that sold him the trailer, he tried to take it to Rhode Island DMV to get it registered and the DMV red flagged it and wouldn't register it. The investigator for the DMV called the dealer that sold him the trailer and the customer had forged a Bill of Sale from them with a different amount than what the original Bill of Sale stated (I presume to try to keep from paying sales tax). The dealer sent the DMV investigator the original Bill of Sale and they said they would only register the trailer with that Bill of Sale. He got upset and harassed the dealer and they eventually had to block him because of the language, etc. he was using at them. We will still warranty the trailer. We suggest that he either get an estimate locally or bring the trailer to our location to have the warranty repairs done as those are his only options. A full refund is out of the question because the trailer has been used and modified by him. If you want my opinion, he bought the trailer to haul his bikes to bike week and used it for its intended purpsoe, and is now trying to get out of having to pay for it.
