May 8, 2023, I filed a claim with Allstate for water damage. Allstate sent Bruce Environmental out to inspect for asbestos. He dug 3 holes in my wall and 1 three 1 in my floor. *********************** and said Bruce Environmental needed to come and do an abatement to remove asbestos. I was told that I could get my own contractor so I cancelled the abatement with ******************* of Bruce environmental got mad at me and said he was going to bill me for a house call. He never came and I figured that was the end of it, but on June 1, 2023, he sent an ebill for $756.83 demanding payment. July 20, 2023, I received another ebill for $1,129.53. The ebill could not be copied or printed. so I forward the document to my Adjuster. I got an email telling me not to pay the charge. ******************* of Bruce Environment is demanding I give him the money I received for repairs. Another adjuster told me that the money was for my repairs and that Allstate took care of anyone they send to my house. I requested documents from Bruce Environmental, but never received and my Adjuster will not return until August 3, 2023. I have messages ti get documentation. Now I have received a copy of a Materialman's Lien, signed by J ******************************* stating that I owe $1.129.53 which includes attorney fees and late fees. ******************* and I agreed that if I owe the money then the total would be $756.83 but apparently he did not tell J *******************************. I am still awaiting documentation and I am so upset about this because I cannot get answers from my Adjuster. The fact that ******************* threatened to bill me for a house call and I didn't allow him to come and do the work is why he is now trying to collect money from me. I am being threatened with a lien. I cannot copy, save or print any of their emails. Is there an email address, maybe I can forward them.
