My husband needed me to pay a court bond but we were made aware when the banks were closed. I went to the bonding company to utilize their services because I could not get the amount of money from the atm at one time and needed to go to the bank in person. Long story short I went to stated bonds company and started the paperwork. I asked the young lady if there was a way for me to forgo the lengthy process of paperwork. She said you have one of two options you can use us and pay a fee and complete s paperwork or you can pay the collateral in full and the liability is yours and you just need to complete a form. I chose this as it seems simpler. BUT she charged me the fee as if I was using their collateral- so I continue in an attempt to get my husband home. That was around 8pm, I awaited checking in with her a few times in between until 2am. Peach dropping fireworks and all happening around. It actually woke me up as I fell asleep in my car. The final time me calling her she says I have your file in front of me and was just about to call you It will be tomorrow because the about says it is no one to sign the bond for him. Ask me why I am still here waiting because the agent had to be called and encouraged to make things right from my point of view. The company says 24/7 but closed and does not operate those hours. I would like my fee back. There are bondsmen in and out of here people leaving left and right. The officers are asking my husband why is he still here as if no one came to his aid and support. This journey started last night. With all of the activities happening in the area last night it was not safe in their parking lot but I chose to wait. They need to take a look at all of their processes ams procedures if staying in business. The lieutenant said he would send an email to the chief because that is highly unacceptable and it was pretty much a scam. Another young lady gingerly walked over to me and said I signed the bond for ******* no intro or anything!
