10/910/14/2022 $441.96 ********* was to provide a clean, professional and safe environment Hotel had roaches, bed bugs, a/c unit almost caught fire and had a very bad burning smell Toilet wouldnt work Rude Unprofessional Called the cops on me and my family to have us put out of the room because I ask to speak with the owner about what was happening The owner did not want to speak with me and called the cops and tried to make false reports on me The changed my check out time but couldnt explain why my itinerary said what I had told the cops even though it was in there system as well. They owner did not want to provide me my money backBusiness response

Baymont Inn and Suites ******************. Douglasville Atlanta, ******* Aug 26 - Aug 28, 2022 | 2 Rooms, 2 Nights My stay was HORRIBLE!!! A nightmare hotel. Upon arrival, we had to put a $50.00 deposit for EACH nonsmoking room. The hallway had a terrible smell, lots of plug-in fragrance. Room 118 smelled of smoke and odor when we opened the door and Room 116 had strong weed smell. I immediately went back to the front office, the person on duty came to inspect the smoking smell we complained about upon arrival, and did nothing but that night but get a can of Lysol and sprayed the rooms down and put in scented plug-ins in the wall. Room 116 had extremely loud noise (partying) and arguing next to it most of each night.When we left for the day for our event, we put our bags back in the car because there were several roaches. When we returned only one room got cleaned, the person at the front desk had to come around to clean the room. My personal towel, washcloth, and shower shoes were taken. The microwave was dirty, bathtubs were old and did not look very clean, the outlet plugs were not secure in the wall. We stayed out extra time so we wont have to spend too much time in room before heading to airport. We did not eat continental breakfast of waffle, banana, cereal, and only one open gallon of milk and orange juice stuffed in their mini fridge in the lobby for guest to handle. Hotel is nothing like advertised on the website. Others were complaining and one gentleman was irate and was refused a refund.This place needs to be reported and condemned. I am seeking a FULL REFUND for our 2-night stay. We have tried to contact the general manager at the hotel number provided, but the manager was not there at the time. We will continue to try to reach out to the manager, in addition to the BBB complaint, so we can get this matter resolved.Business response
