We submit a service request 07/11/2023 to ORHP due to A/C not cooling & reduced air flow from the vents. The A/C unit, in our attic, had standing water visibly in the A/C catch pan. ORHP assigned the request to South Atlanta ***************************** South Atlanta **************************** (SAHA):1.arrived 07/13/2023; determined that the abundance of water was due to a clogged upper drain line that ran to the exterior of the home. 2.vacuumed the standing water in the catch pan & attached his vacuum to the 2 drain lines to clear them. 3.never attached any gauges to the A/C unit. 4.Never inspect the exterior unit. 5.did not remove the A/C cover to further his inspection of the unit and to determine why water was in the catch pan. Had ASHS removed the A/C cover the is*** would have been apparent that the coils had frozen over. 3 days later we noticed a puddle of water on our living room floor. When we looked up, we could see water coming through the ceiling. At this point we started checking the drain pan & vacuuming the water out for ourselves every few hours. Called ORHP the next business day and ORHP recalled the original WO ticket and assigned the recalled ticket to another service provider as **** would never return any calls or emails from ORHP or ourselves. We were never advised by the service provider to cease running the A/C unit, so subsequently we incurred a water damage to our living room ceiling. I was finally able to speak with the owner, *******************, on 08/17/2023, called to attain his insurance info to file a claim for water damage to our ceiling; he was rude, combative, and advised us to *** him then he hung up on me. We now have over $1,000 in expected repairs to our living room ceiling.
