      I paid for repair on my deck that was a major safety concern - it was pulling away from my house and would have fallen more than 2 stories down into the ***** behind my home. One of their own contractors told me he wouldn't even step on the deck from inside my kitchen (heading to the deck) because he was so fearful of how it was. They told me they did all of the repairs correctly and everything was now safe and secure. I am now moving and the buyers had an inspector come to my house. He cited the exact same issues that they stated they fixed and that I paid them a lot of money to fix. They basically put a bandaid on an issue, made it look like they did the work to fix the problems, however these could have had fatal outcomes if this had come apart from my home, or if myself/my family were out on the deck. It is outrageous that they lied, did poor work (wrong screws, wrong joist hangers, not enough of them, etc.). They cheated me out of my money and I did not know it until now, when I thought I had solved my problem.

      Hello, My parents have a contract with a contractor that apparently has a habit of taking money and not providing services. We have a contract dated 3.24.22 with a start date of 4.18.2022. Projected date of completion is 7-10days of start date. Work to be performed is deck renovation and under4-deck drainage system(signed contract can be furnished upon request). My parents paid $4,500 towards the $9,000 total quote. Check cashed and owner is **** Promised to refund and no refund received. This man NEEDS to be STOPPED.

      We paid a deposit of $5500.00 on 12/31/21 for a porch to be closed in on our house. Job was supposed to start week of 2/7/22.Job did not start so we called to ask when job would start and were told it would not start until week of 3/21/22.We decided to add some more to the work order so we paid another deposit of $1500.00 on 2/14/22.Week of 3/21/22 came along and nobody came out to start job and nobody called to say why. We ended up calling again looking for someone to come out and were told the job would now be starting the week of 4/4/22.That didn't happen. We then said we would like our money back so we could hire someone else to do the job and were told someone would definitely be out to start on 4/20/22.On 4/19 we asked when to expect a crew. No response. On 4/20 we told ******************** we would no longer need his services and would expect a refund in the amount of $7000.00 since the job was never started and he had our money for almost 4 months. No response. We have not heard back from anyone from this company as of 4/25/22 about why the job was not started and when or how we will be getting our deposit back.

      On October 23,2021 We signed a contract and gave a check deposit with the sum of ******** to ******************************* stating the name of his business is called Affordable roof inspections, on that day he made a commitment to us that his workers will be available to start working on our deck November 22,2021, no workers showed up that day, We called him to find out what happened where are your workers, He stated they were running behind and as soon as they finish that project they are working on they will be coming to work on my deck next now we are in December two weeks has past and still no workers to fulfilled his commitment as promised, nature of the dispute is, We called ******************************* to request a refund since he failed to fulfilled his commitment to us, He stated to me at that time he has been trying to hire people to work offering a ***** dollars a week but no one wants to work, he then stated That our refund will be return on December 17, 2021 he will mail it, a new year came still no refund on January 7, 2022 he called asking if my wife will work with him and accept a ***** dollars a week to resolve his debt, He made two payments of a ***** dollars that took two months one in January and one in February now when I call to see about next payment that he promised to pay on March 5, 2022, He redirects my calls straight to his voice mail, I have text him to call me still up today no return call from ******************************* even after the agreement we made with him all the promises he made hasn't been kept.

      Our sales rep keeps telling us someone will come and finish the project on the front of our house and also fix the busted windowsills that were damaged during the process. Two holes now leading to the outside of our house in freezing temperatures. No response other than a quick: let me call him or he will be there tomorrow and then nothing. This has been going on for weeks. Terrible work and needs to be fixed ASAP.

      I submitted a project request on **** and was provided a list of contractors to contact. I reached out to *******************************, Affordable Roof Inspections, regarding the project. The project in detailed was to complete and repair my deck that was not completed by previous contractor. ******* and his ******* quoted me a price of $5700 with $3200 deposit. The project was to begin no later than Nov 8, 2021. ***************************** never showed up the week of Nov 8, 2021. I called ******* and he told me that his guys would be out the following week as they were stuck working another project. This went on for about 2 more weeks as I continued to call ******* for why my project was not starting on time. ******* advised that his guys will be out the week of Nov 29, 2021. The guys finally arrived Nov 29 and I noticed that they were smoking weed in their truck on my property! The ******* apologized and they began working on the stairs of the deck. The next day only one person showed up and began working on the stairs and removing panels. Wednesday Dec 1, 2021, no one showed up. Thursday Dec 2, 2021, no one showed up. I called ******* and he told me that his guys are on another project. I asked when my project was going to be complete. ******* said by next Thursday Dec 9. I told ******* that was unacceptable and told him that I wanted it complete next Tuesday Dec 7. He said that he will get it done by Tuesday and apologized. I asked when I should expect his guys to come over. He said they will be over later this afternoon. At 4pm Thursday Dec 2, I called ******* because no one showed up. ******* said that he told them not to come because it was too late. I asked are they going to be here Friday morning he said yes. Friday come no show. I called ******* back and told him I no longer need his service and requested a refund of $2000 for partial work. As of now, ******* have not refunded my money and now tells me that I won't get my money until Dec 28, which is unacceptable.

      *******************************, owner and representative of Affordable Toof Inspections received a $15,000 (50%) deposit in September 2021 to construct a deck. Between September and November, we received nothing but excuses why he could not begin the job. In November, we found another contractor to complete the work. We notified ******* that we would need an immediate refund. We received nothing but excuses re: why there was a delay in returning our deposit. He said that he didnt have the money; he stated that he placed it in a general fund that all deposits for customers go in; he stated that materials are purchased out of the fund for every customer. He said he didnt have the money, as it went towards another clients build. He indicated several times that the check was in the mail, that it was distributed from the corporate office. Upon research we discovered that there is no corporate office. He was despicable enough to fake a stroke as the reason why he couldnt pay us. After several uncomfortable phone and text conversations, hes given us $10,000 of our deposit. $5,000 is still outstanding. He is no longer responding to put calls, voicemails, and text messages. We just want out money back.

      I contacted Affordable roof inspection for a deck and fence around May 10th of 2021. The contract was signed on May 20th and a check of $3600 was made and cash out the following day. Since then I have contacted ******************* regarding the completion of my project. My phone called text messages are either ignored, dismissed or answer with a new date. I lost a considerable amount of time on this and I refused other companies because I was convinced and trusted ******* to get my project done well and in a timely manner. I want him to start and finish the project exactly per the contract or give me the deposit and find someone that will complete the project since I lost almost 6 months of this and unfortunately I lost candidates who were well suited for the job but was pretty much deceive by *******. Please I will like some help in this matter. Thank you for your consideration
