The initial estimate for the move was $2,344, but the total amount I paid was $4,066. The move also took nearly a month, and the company withheld my belongings until I made payments, which were higher than the initial estimates at each step. They offered to expedite the move for a very high fee, and when I declined, they stopped responding to messages. The initial proposed payment after pickup was over $6,000, but the company eventually acknowledged billing issues and reduced it to $3,000. The mover at pickup stated that everything I had would fit within the prepaid amount, but the company later informed me that this was not the case, resulting in the overage. Had I not contested this and paid the bill as presented, I would have significantly overpaid. They later admitted making an error (likely intentionally) only after I made it very clear to them. At delivery, they again dramatically increased the fee and threatened not to deliver my goods unless I paid via ACH at the time of delivery. They destroyed a $2,000 couch - it is punctured and unusable, I am missing a 34-inch ** Computer Monitor, which I had packed in its original packaging. The value of this monitor is $400. This monitor was likely stolen during the move. Damaged Goods The frame of a large painting (24 x 36 inches) was damaged beyond repair, and the glass was shattered. Estimated value: ~$200 for the painting and frame. A wooden folding shelf was delivered broken and chipped. Estimated value: $50. A lamp was significantly damaged, with the metal twisted beyond repair and needing to be discarded. Value: $70. A wooden tie hanger was severely damaged during the move and had to be discarded. Estimated value: $25. A chest of drawers was scratched all over. Estimated repair value: replace, $300 Requesting a refund of $4,066 to compensate for lost items, misleading pricing & overpayment, delivery delay, failure to respond.

At the end of May/beginning of June 2024 I was preparing for a cross-country move from ************* to *******. The horror begins. "Blue Diamond" or ***************************************** LLC", whatever scam they are out of ******* is who I settled with. I worked with a sales agent named "***" who quoted me with a law enforcement related discount since I work with LE. He then proceeded to verbally state that my pickup time was guaranteed and the date I provided for delivery was also guaranteed. Which is why I went with the company! Fast forward a week before my move (pickup set for June 25th), Ms. ********* told me there are NO guarantees for pickup date and time. SECOND LIE. Then she proceeded to tell me that "***" was fired. He misquoted the space I needed for the truck. I had to leave behind 3 large items. The movers on pickup day were 2 hours late, delaying my cross-country schedule since I drove to my new home. ****************, the mover, ALSO VERBALLY CONFIRMED that delivery would be the date I sent (June 28th). In follow up calls it then turned to "4-21" days for delivery then "*****" days.Everyone at the company that talks to you lies about what they can do and what they "will" do just to make a quick buck. It is now July 25th, I have been at my new home 28 days and counting. No bed, no cooking supplies, no CLOTHES FOR WORK, none of my personal, sentimental belongings that are IRREPLACEABLE. Moreover, I have no clue what condition my stuff is being held hostage in -- yes, this company is holding my belongings hostage. I have electronics and valuables that could be damaged by heat, rain, etc. and given that they say my stuff is in ******* it's humid! Based on the pictures which I had to force them to send me, my belongings look like they have been thrown into a dirty garage. I don't want my couch and bed to get bugs nor my other stuff to be destroyed. It's been sitting there for a month! And these people expect me to pay the last half of my invoice. HELP.

Moved me out of my apartment on 5/31/24. Halfway through packing my stuff they say I didn't give enough info for the quote and said they were charging me $2900 instead of $1600 like I had been quoted. Then it took over a week to get my stuff to my new place. When I got my things. most of the boxes had been wet and were smashed. They broke a large picture frame I spent $300 on and my playstation 4 and roku stick was missing.

Original quote tripled AFTER they collected my belongings. Signed an initial contract after which the company added in costs which I did not sign for or authorize. My bill went from ~$4300 to ~$13,000 *********** refuses to allow me to pick up my belongings and move them myself, instead they are holding them ******.I told them before they took everything that I could not afford $13,000 and they drove off anyway.Contract pricing does not matter to these people and even though I was promised in writing a 40% discount, they only applied it to the Initial quote and not the subsequent triple charges.100% scam company. Not uploading contract because they have a copy where it lists a 40% discount that isn't applied on the order and they refuse to acknowledge it.

      Hello,

Hope all is well. We, Blue Diamond Movers LLC, have contacted the customer. During our phone conversation we advised the customer ********************** is based out of GA and we only operate within the state of **. We only have a DOT number and do not travel outside of the state of **. The customer reviewed their estimate/invoice and advised us the address listed was ***********, ********. We advised the customer that a company using a similar name (Blue Diamond Movers **** is based out of that city and state, therefore it was most likely the moving company the customer was referring to. We advised the customer several people are getting our company and the other moving company confused. We advised the customer we would text all the details we had regarding the moving company the customer potentially used. The information sent to the customer outlines the difference between each company and states the two companies are separate entities and not affiliated with one another. We advised the customer to contact us if there was anything else we could assist with but unfortunately the customer did not conduct business with **********************.

      Thank you.

I hired Top Moving Solutions who without my consent turned my move over to Blue Diamond Movers. Two unprofessionally dressed boys picked up my furniture saying it would be delivered in about three days...that was January 14th and I still do not have my things. I have been threatened several times by *****, ****** and **** and **** keeps calling asking for payment for something I did not receive. They continue to refuse to deliver my things and won't let me make sure everything is intact and undamaged BEFORE I hand over $3200 in cash. If my things are fine why won't they deliver them and let me pay them then? I was forced to write a check to ***************************** for $842.00 who road off with my things to a warehouse in Georgia...I live in ******* but he did not tell me he was doing so. None of what they have done makes sense and I absolutely refuse to pay them one more dime until I inspect my furniture and boxes. If you have nothing to hide you hide nothing. I have contacted the local police, the F.B.I, my attorney, and another organization I will not name and they are all standing by to see how this ends. There were over ****** moving scams last year that involved customers moves being brokered out to crooks. BLUE DIAMOND MOVERS IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST COMPANY DELIVER MY BELONGINGS AND LET ME SEE MY THINGS ARE INTACT BECAUSE ONLY A FOOL THROWS MONEY AT DISHONESTY AND DECEPTION.

November 2023. I hired this company to move me from ** to **. I was quoted at 6000$ and I ended up paying $12,000 and also had to give them $2300 in cash or I wouldn't get my items. they were supposed to pack my home and get me out in one day. Instead they sent one man. He was 8 hours late to the move. and he barely made a dent. they sent another man about 5 hours later. In total, it took 4 days to move me out of my home. I had to hire a completely different company because they said that my belongings wouldn't fit and they had to hire another company. So another $2200 I had to spend because of negligence. on day two, they left in the middle of packing my home and moved another woman. on day 3 they drove back to *********** for the other mans parole meeting. and that night, they drove the 2nd load to **. At which point he would text me and demand i wake up the new owners of my. home at 3AM and open the garage. Once they got what they considered to "fit" they drove the final load to **. The mover opened a completely different unit in his name. it took me 7 weeks to find it, approx. 30 miles from the unit i bought. It then took 3 more weeks to track him down because his name was on the unit and the Storage place wouldn't let me in. Upon opening the first unit the first box of stuff was shattered and all furniture damaged. Upon opening the second unit, it was very clear and i recorded it, that they had rummaged thru my dresser. Alas, I have over ******* thousand dollars worth of personal belongings missing.
