I first noticed that one of the shingles near the sheating around the chimney had a bump. This was in 2020. I was told that it was nothing to worry about and so I didn't. They put some roof putty around the area of the metal sheating and thought that would resolve the problem. later the bump turned into the nail under the shingles in that area protruding out of the roof and through the shingles. It started leaking on the inside the home near the fireplace. after a lot of e-mails and talks with *********, they came out again and told me that they would be back the next morning to fix the problem. They said that I didn't even need to be there. They never came back. ********* says that she keeps giving the messages to ******* and he keeps saying he's not going to be in the area and that he is busy. I have sent them pictures and videos of the water leaking. I have a bucket and three cups to catch the rainwater. I waited and waited and didn't file a claim because they kept responding. When they stopped responding and started saying things like they are busy, that is when i decided to try BBB. I have a 10yr warranty with them that they have not honered. I would like for them to make the repair and any damages that have occured as a result of them not following through. I have a video of the actual leaking live that I sent them 8/24/22 but i can't upload it hear and my attempts to save the e-mail are acting up, but i can forward them somewhere if that will help.Initial Complaint

My Mother had her roof replaced from Optimal Roofing in Nov 2019 with a 10 year warranty. Last month she noticed shingles coming up from the roof. I contacted ****************** six times asking if they could take a look at the damages and repair. Each time, he gave me a date/time that he would come but never have. I have also tried to contact the owner by calling the officer number ************ with no success. My mother paid close to 6k to get her **** replaced and I would like for Optimal Roofing to honor their warranty. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
