On *******, I took my car to Tire One for regular maintenance plus my car was running rough and the check engine light came on. I worked with Michael who is the manager. At 1st they replaced the spark plugs @ $199.35 and then it was determined by them that was not the fix and that 1 of the ignition coils was bad at a charge of $210.85. After assuring me it was fixed, I didn't get too far down the road, and it was running worse than before + check engine light came back on. I took it back and was told I needed to change out the other 3 ignition coils which cost me an additional $684.11. So, I'm out $894.96 + $199.35 = $1,094.31 for ignition coils that did not need replacing + spark plugs that did not need replacing. I'm not counting in the $41.94 I paid for an oil change or the $20 for a tire rotation. I still had issues, so I took it to the **** dealership in ******* where they told me it was completely misdiagnosed, and it was a problem with coolant leaking into the cylinder and the only fix was a new engine @ $5,837.99. None of the work done at Tire One was necessary and would not fix the problem. I did work with **** and got the engine replaced and car works fine. I made several attempts to reach Jamie (the owner) through Michael (the manager) plus left messages at his other shop. Michael assured me he passed along my messages, but Jamie never would call me back. I wanted to discuss with him some sort of resolution, thinking not only did I want some money back, but it was not fair of him to profit off of his company's mid-diagnosis. But he would not even give me the courtesy of a call back to discuss. I stopped by the shop again a few weeks ago and talked to Michael. He said Jamie told him they were in no way responsible and would do nothing for me.Initial Complaint
