PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PERSON TO WORK WITH IF YOU ARE WORKING ON YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. If I could leave Ms. Deloach negative stars I would. After working with Ms. Deloach over a few months I have come to realize that this woman was only in it for the money. She does not respond to emails, phone calls, or text messages about anything that doesn't involve making a new appointment. If you reach out to her on a day that you are not paying for a session she will not respond to you and will wait to speak to you if you have another paid session coming up. Then she will have an excuse stating that her email or phone was not working. ( I, unfortunately, know another client of hers and this has been their same experience concerning communication) If I could upload images to convey the level of unprofessionalism that I experienced with this woman, I would, just so that someone else would not have to experience the same level of distress that I went through with her. She suggested professionally that I needed to go on leave from work and after submitting the paperwork and starting that leave, Ms. Deloach began to cause even more stress in my life that I did not expect, especially because I went to her for help. She did not release her notes, when asked by the short term disability company, to help support the very claim that she suggested I start and when I reached out to her about finding another solution (because legally she is not obligated to release psychotherapy notes), she did not respond to my emails, text messages, and phone calls when I contacted her. What really triggered this review is that I have mentioned to Ms. Deloach that I was paying her out of pocket and had no other source of income and that her absent and non-responsive approach towards me and the short term disability company was adding to that stress and again, Ms. Deloach waited until we had a scheduled session to then make excuses and try to get me to "manifest" my problems away. She has also come right out and said that would not speak with me if I did not pay her prior to every conversation. I expressed to her that I would pay her and I really would appreciate a call concerning the issues that she was actually causing me but at that moment I realized that Ms. Deloach valued money over her clients. So I repeat, if you are looking for someone who truly wants to help you work through some of the mental and emotional things that you are going through PLEASE heed my advice and find someone else who truly cares.
