On June 28, 2023, we hired Two Men and a Truck were to move us from **************, ** to *********, **. We paid $500 extra for a third day of moving and they completed the job one day early. We also purchased the full replacement plan insurance. We have submitted all the information about items that were damaged due to the negligent movers. We have even contacted the corporate office and the office told us that we needed to work with the franchise. Our refrigerator, couch, clock, toilet paper, paper towels and crockpot were damaged. For the past 8 weeks, we have asked to have our items fixed or replaced. We have been told that the company is looking into the fixing or replacing. We have had to go 8 weeks without handles to the door of our refrigerator. We paid for the insurance and have not received any sort of compensation for the damage to our items.

Prep was fine, approx 25 Oct 2022. Showed rep my grand piano, he said no problem. Showed Sleep number bed. No problem. Pack and move days (4-5 Nov). Pack day, didn't finish kitchen, at least two hours of work left. Told the grand piano couldn't go. Told wouldn't do Sleep Number bed. Day 2. Ran out of packing material, couldn't finish kitchen. Supposed to finish move-in by 4:00 pm. Just leaving old house at 4:00 pm. Finished move-in at midnight of day two. Surly workers when day extended. Considerable damage. Left deep gouges in hardwood floor of old house. Damaged several pieces antique furniture. Tried to convince me their contractor who "fixes" with stain and magic marker was a good repair. Clearly need *****************. Broke glass. broke an antique table leg. Kept sending the magic marker guy. Provided info and estimates on "real repairs," told those were unacceptable vendors. Has now been over 120 days. Have asked for vendors they will accept, no answer. Not answering my emails. Total physical damage about $2700. Thinking about suing for that and stress/emotional damage to my wife. They have the photos of the damage and the estimates. Can provide if necessary, but can't upload to this computer, can send to email address if provided.

Two Men and a Truck Movers moved my family on July 14, 2022. It was a simple move consisting of several rooms of furniture between two homes located 10 minutes apart. The two movers damaged numerous pieces to include a dent in the door of a new refrigerator and a new dining table. They damaged the frame of the front door of the destination home in several locations as well. We purchased additional insurance to cover any damage of loss before the move commenced. When the damaged was observed on July 14, we identified it to the moving crew and immediately filed a claim with Two Men and a Truck through their online portal. There has been essentially no communication from the company except for a single email indicating that they were processing the claim. They have failed to respond to numerous email communications and voice mails (the only option to speak with someone) are never returned.Essentially, we purchased the insurance coverage for damages, the movers damaged the furniture, appliance as well as our home and now have failed to communicate with us.

To make this short, my experience of moving out with Two Men and a Truck this past May 27th was a nightmare. I had my date canceled 1 and half times while trying to schedule with them. The first cancelation was because of an accicdent between 2 of their drivers on their own lot and the second because of inorganization of their office staff to make the proper notes. I made them adhere to the 2nd date (June1st) bacause I already took the entire week off and could not reschedule for another date. This change of dates alone I feel warrents a refund of our security deposit since they never secured our dates. When the movers finally did show up they were late by 5 hours, disgruntled by the disorganization of their office staff, had inadequate tools to get the job done in a timely manor and had no clue about the job they were own. Their truck even had other people's patio furniture from another job. They took my stuff and started loading up the truck without having me sign anything and finished around 8:30pm. They destroyed one of my expensive book cases reducing it to firewood. Because of this they had to overnight my stuff and deliver everything to the new place the next day. The next day, the crew came by late again by 3 hours, had even less tools for the job, again disgruntled and clueless about the job. They brought up my stuff with various cosmetic and functional damage on several items of furniture. One of the movers kept smashin boxes on top of each other and on the ground. And upon finishing the job only one of movers was wilkling to try and help me fix back my bedframes which the previous crew took apart for the move. This led me to work with this guy for the last hour and a half to finish a job I paid them to do which wasn't even finished. He told me he would ask the other 2 guys waiting in the truck to help finish the beds and never came back. I didn't sign anything. On top of it, I let one guy use my bathroom, he clogged the toilet and refused to unclog.

Mr. ******** made it very difficult from the beginning of the move. I gave him a 500$ discount on our end. We have tried to work with Mr. ******** on multiple occasions and him demanding more and more. The $500 discount is more than sufficient seeing that he has a $300 deductible on all repairs performed.

They would have to explain how I made the interaction "very difficult." No one at any point said they couldn't do the move nor have any difficulty in filling the request. I took off a specific week of work to make this happen, and understandably accidents do happen (2 employees crashing into themselves on their own lot) however you cannot peg me for being difficult when ****** your regional manager said that he would be able to "squeeze me in that following Wednesday" with no problems. If you "Two Guys" are experts in the field then you should know when you can take on an extra work load. Please substantiate how I have been difficult in the process when you guys already took out a security deposit to secure a date that they could not uphold. On the second date, June 1st which I had scheduled with ******, they only scrambled to try and make ends meet when I called because them because they were late for their appointment (window 9am-10am to start). If I didn't call, they were going to come on Friday which is not what was discussed. Aside from that, the amount that all the staff had no idea what was going on during the entire time was appauling; aside for damaging furniture, not completing the job upon the end of move in day, and another staff member using my son's bathroom and then refusing to unclog it after I asked him twice to do so. To this day we are still unpacking boxes because of the amount of time this company has cost us in their inadequate planning and ability to adapt to the situation. All of this could'vbe been avoided if they just said, "sorry we can't accomadate you".

In addition, this is the first time I'm seeing a copy of all the paper work though I have requested everything several times over the past 2 weeks. To me I think this is their way to cover themselves from all the mistakes they make. If you check out thier reviews on ******* the *********** ** office, you can see that this is a pattern with the vast amount of past clients giving 1 star reviews. Again, I would like for "Two Guy and a Truck" to please explain in detail how have I been "difficult" in this process?

In addition, $300 will only cover maybe one or 2 items on the list of items damaged. I will be following up with pictures of all items in the claim as well as directly sending them to "Two Guys" via the email *********************** sent me this weekend.

I have been waiting nearly two years to the date for this company to settle a claim. They refuse to pay for, replace or repair items that were heirlooms or gifts because receipts were not available even though they were provided with information from Replacements. The $400 offered didnt begin to cover the cost and when I advised this was unacceptable, I never heard another word. Breakage was caused by improper packing....you do not back bowls on their sides or load heavy objects on top of fragile ones. I contracted with this company to fully pack and move me from ******, ** to ************** **. The final moving day, the house was not completely packed, they ran out of materials and would not go to ********** a mile away to purchase more so I had to beg boxes and garbage bags from neighbors to pack the spare bath, my laundry room and a kitchen cabinet all while being told they had to leave! I do have witnesses who can attest to this. *********** personnel were disrespectful and complained to a driver that "they'd had to deal" with me within my hearing. Can't recommend this firm! Funny that my next door neighbor used Two Men and a Truck to move her from WI to ** and had nothing but praise for her crews........
