    I paid $750 to USMS LLC and its sales representative used puffing and deceptive tactics to obtain my business and get me to sign a contract. Contacted USMS LLC to validate pick up dates since that would require me to travel by air to be physically present for the pickup. The sales representative confirmed the dates and I purchased a RT airline ticket which cost an additional $350. When the subcontractor's (US Logistics) moving truck arrived, their driver stated that they could only load 3 items of the inventory because that would take up all 300 cu ft. of space unless they were paid an additional $1000 above contract. The 3 items he selected added up to 102 cu ft. which is roughly one third of the contracted space. I asked how could 200 cu ft. account for blankets and the subcontractor's driver could not provide an answer or explanation. I then contacted his supervisor and was told the same thing. The supervisor immediately cancelled the contract over the phone, contacted the driver, and the moving truck left the premises. After failing to reach an agreement for the quoted contract price, the sales representative along with another USMS LLC representative stated that I needed to negotiate with the subcontractor directly and that the subcontractor "would make it work". The supervisor of the subcontractor company called back and restated that they could not move my inventory for less than an additional $1000 which I vehemently rejected for a second time. USMS LLC would not provide a refund and threatened that any action on my part to "put a stop payment or file a dispute with the credit card would fail." USMS LLC took no responsibility for the subcontractor's failure to honor their agreement. I remeasured and recalculated all items in my inventory. The mathematical total of my inventory was 286 cu ft., well under the contracted limit of 300 cu ft.
