They dropped off material in January of 2022. I asked them on several occasions to come and pick up this material it was hazardous to my property, the neighbors and potentially those driving up and down our street. Instead of removing the material, they tied it up and put it in between trees on top of brush. In July, the work still not started, the material catches on fire. The owner assured us they would retrieve the remaining material by July 8, 2022. After four attempts of trying to contact them, they finally called me today July 21, 2022. Both owners were on the phone, one owner yelled at me, almost to the point where I wasn't able to understand him. I was able to understand him when he told me he was not going to get the material off of the property. I gave him an opportunity to stop yelling and speak in a civil manner, but he wasn't able to calm down so I ended the conversation. I text the owner who assured me that the material would be retrieved by July 8, 2022, stating that her having her husband call and **** at me doesn't negate the fact she agreed to to get this hazardous material off of this property. They have not kept their word on at least four separate occasions. The least they can do is get the material that has already and potentially has the opportunity to, catch on fire, off of vulnerable senior citizens property. My parents neighbor, who identified the fire and called the fire department is also a senior citizen. Their treatment of my parents home, property and life as well as their neighbors, is unacceptable!

      Business response

After 36 years of satisfied customers, I'd like to start with facts from the beginning of this ordeal. Th county approved a septic instillation in a area of your parents property, which I know from experience, would not offer the longevity of the septic system due to the inadequate soil that we found upon initial dig. I received permission from you to dig test holes to find an area with suitable soils. After contacting the county ******************************* to communicate what we were finding and approve the new location with suitable soils, I asked you to locate the property lines in the area of overgrown kudzu and privit to satisfy county regulations. I even mentioned that a land surveyor would be the best route to go to ensure that the new system is properly installed with in the property boundaries. My crew and I spent the best part of the day at no charge test-digging to find suitable soils. We had product on-site this day and should have been able to install the system had the soils in the original permitted location been suitable.

While waiting for you to **** the property lines, the drain-field products which we purchased were in jeopardy of blowing around during some storms in the area. You contacted us to let us know and we arrived shortly after, in the rain, to move and strap down the product next to a storage building on the property. The system was still scheduled to be installed but by the following verbatim conversation, we could still not install till the property lines were properly ****ed.

Text message from my wife to you on 3-23-22 @ 11:27am "Ok. He just left your place. the ** Flow is secured. Now... he needs you to get something to **** the property line with now since you found the 2 pins. So get some ****ing paint or stakes and flags and **** every ***** feet once it's ****ed he can do the install. The county will not pass the inspection if the property line is not ****ed. Typically they want it staked with a surveyor..... but they might be ok with you ****ing it. might want to **** it then confirm with neighbor once it's done if you don't get a surveyor."

We waited patiently with the $4500.00 of product plus time and labor on your property for at least 2 months waiting for you to do what was needed so that your elderly parents septic system could be installed. You failed to **** the lines and due to that the product sat on-site waiting for you to do what was needed and it was supposedly ruined by a lightning strike which was totally out of our control.

If you would have told us that your could not **** the property lines and chose to not install the system we would have retrieved our product and not charged you for the labor spent test digging. Now, when you called and raised your voice to us speaking in an inappropriate manner to me discussing this situation I replied with the same tone. After 36 years of satisfied customers and to now have one that, due to your negligence, is unsatisfied we receive a 1 star rating. I guess in 36 years of working by a handshake and not asking for a material payment upfront.... due to people like you I guess I need to review my strategies.

As far as flammable material, anything hit by lightning is flammable..... This was plastic pipe and ** Flow materials. So yes it will burn, especially if hit by lightning. So in closing I'm out $4500.00 and a days labor and not I'm not cleaning the mess up.  Your should have been considerate of us to do what was your responsibility to tend to your senior citizen parents home or told us you changed your mind on the instillation so we could remove the product we paid for before it got destroyed.

I am disappointed this situation got to this point beyond our control.

I am rejecting this response because: you continue to lie. You raised your voice at me ************ and I disconnected the phone call. I asked you and your wife to retrieve the material and you decided to tie it up and put it on the side of the shed. I expressed it was a liability and I wanted it removed. You and your wife encouraged me to NOT get a survey due to the price, and to find the property lines on my own. ************, you and I both identified the property line on the side of the home, and it was already marked due to my neighbor having had a survey done on their home. The other two property lines were identified by myself and my second neighbor. Your wife and I communicated with one another and she told me that was all she needed. It was after that she asked for the marking of the property lines. Everytime you asked for something I would provide the information and you would find something else. You continued to string us along so you could do work in Alabama. You are disgusting, disrespectful, a liar and I'm sickened that we ever came in contact with you, your wife, and your company. $4,500 is nothing compared to a fire in the middle of the night, and my father having a cardiac attack. You should be ashamed of yourselves, you reap what you sow.

      Sincerely,
