In September of 2022, I went to the *******, Georgia Urology Office. My care was taken care of through the VA *************** In November 2022, I received a bill from Labcorp, for $72. When I called the office they told me that they had sent some of my tests to Labcorp. I told them that my VA authorization was for Georgia Urology and not Labcorp and that the VA would not pay for it. I didn't get any help from the office so I called billing a couple of times, and I kept being told to call Labcorp, and I kept telling them the same thing, that the VA would not pay so why would I call Labcorp. I finally spoke to *****************************, (Call Center Supervisor for GU), in December 2022. She asked me to send her the bill and said that they would take care of it. I didn't hear back from her, but I received another bill in January of 2023, and I sent that to her as well. She told me, again, that they would take care of it. But then I received another bill in February 2023, and forwarded it to her, via email, on February 24th. I didn't hear from her so I called her again on February 28th, and as of 4:11pm, I still have not heard from her. My Labcorp invoice number is ********.Business response

Good Afternoon.*************** to case # above regarding a patient complaint.Please note that on February 9, 2023, we contacted LabCorp and gave the lab the patients correct insurance information and they assured us that they would correct on their end and bill correctly. We were also told that the lab would reach out to the patient and assure patient everything was corrected.Please feel free to reach out to me directly at the email address included should you have any other complaints that I can be of assistance with answering. My apologies, I have been out of the office.
I will have someone follow up with the lab and see if they can bill us directly for this lab.
