Bustos corp provided me with a quote to paint. The scope included the following Paint the trim around windows (25) Pressure wash patio and paint hand rails and porch in the back of house Fix colums in the front of house and paint. Paint door frame in the front of house. Caulk the added part all the way to the top Basboard painted in added area Material cost included.1 year warranty only on work we did. Also job days to be completed 3 days Also would be asking for %50 percent up front for material cost. I transferred $2000 via zelle to ******* Bustos on May 19th 2022. ******* Bustos promised to start the job on May 20th and bring his crew to start on the windows the same day. ******* did not show up to my house till after 1pm on May 20th 2022. He brought his little girl to work with him and I told him that this would be a safety issue and I didnt want the little girl getting hurt on my property. ******* continued to unload his tools to work on the deck and the paint colour he brought was the wrong one from what we agreed on. However, he left with his daughter to change the paint and returned back after 6pm. I informed ******* that *** does not allow contractors to work after 7pm. ******* than returned back with his little daughter again the next day May 21st 2022 after 3pm. I spoke with ******* how he would be able to complete the work in three days as he promised. At this time ******* asked for $1000 and I didnt feel comfortable giving him more money as I didnt see any progress or any crew. ******* left my deck looking bad/ half done and now is threatening me for putting a lean on my house because I wont pay him. I find this bad business practice and unethical of Bustos Corp. Bustos corp has not completed one scope from what we agreed on and has taken $2000 from me and that is not fair of me being threaten by such unethical person and company. I have pictures of how the work was left for further review if needed.
