We paid this company three weeks ago Sept. *** 2022 over 400.00 down payment to install blinds that he promised would be installed in 10 days. We have since not been able to reach him.Business response

On **********, I wrote a check to Bi-City Blinds for $1,000. As a prepayment for plantation shutters. The remainder to be paid when the blinds were installed. This is ********** and as of this date nothing has been done. I have called and left messages frequently and received one call back to say the blinds had been ordered. I did not start documenting anything until recently, when I realized that I may be a victim of a scam. The $1,000. Check was cashed immediately by the company. I have asked for a refund of my money or delivery and installation of the shutters. This was by way of a message left on the businesses voice mail. I definitely need a resolution to this problem as quickly as possible.Business response

She was told that with covid shipping is delayed and the turn around time was running around ten weeks. It has run over that and we informed her of the delay. The product is ordered we have not been provided with an estimated ship date as of yet. We have been in contact with her daughter ***** and have been working with her to expedite this order as soon as possible.Initial Complaint

The consumer hired the business to install blinds. The blind were installed incorrectly and the consumer has contacted the business several times to come correct the problem. The consumer had to hire another come to fix the blinds.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/29) */ Spoke with customer and told him we was out of town due to family emergency. He said he got someone else to fix problem. I told him sorry about that. Guess he was just inpatient. I will not refund due to his inpatients. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/11/09) */ It is impossible to get a hold of this business. Before the weekend he left I tried to reach him and still could not. After a couple of weeks I had to get someone to fix this. I just need him to refund a partial refund of 200.00 from the 3000.00 I paid him as they were not installed correctly.
