Hutsell & Son LLC, ****** Hutsell the owner was very unprofessional and took part of our money without doing the job. He claimed he could not start on our home addition until our electrical box was moved. After talking to multiple electricians and other contractors, who stated that he could/should start before the electrical box was moved, we realized he was not capable or qualified to safely complete our addition. My husband and I asked for our deposit back. ****** stated through text messages that he was to keep $1500 of our money. He did not do any work at this point. ****** then said that he would give us all of our money back except for $500, which he claimed was for the concrete footing blocks he bought. We offered to take them considering he already bought them with our deposit. He said he would just return them instead. Therefore he should have returned all of our deposit. He then came on my property and insisted that he did not need to pay any money back. I felt very threated by his tone and demeanor. A week later he decided to pay himself $750 out of our deposit and only returned the remaining amount.
