I ordered a break controllers switch. They sent me a different part number. I contacted them through email and called several times to return the part they sent for the other part. The manager promised an email either Thursday or Friday 10/8/2021 with answer. He said with the vin I might need the part they sent also. I hear nothing from him and called on 10/13. I said I am returning the part. $116. The manager told his employee to tell me to return part but their will be a restock fee. The website totes about good customer service and it is #1. I should not have to pay a 20% restocking fee on a part they sent to me wrong. So until I get something from them saying I can return the part and there will be NO restocking fee, I don't want to send the part back. This company is not #1 in customer service.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/15) */ Our system shows we sent the part that you ordered. If we packaged and sent the wrong part by mistake, there would be no restocking fee and we would send the correct part. Seems to be some miscommunication. Please contact Nikki directly. I am not satisfied with paying the restocking fee, but I cannot prove that things were changed. It is odd now when you do the same search in google for "ford brake controller, it does not even show the company. The picture on their website show a blank square. I would not have ordered from that, I was looking for a switch that has a slider bar on it. I cannot prove that anything was changed. I think now they had the wrong picture on the part. But I am not doing anything further because it will not do any good. So you can mark it closed, I guess, because I cannot prove anything. The customer was confused by the engineering number on the part itself being different than the part number on the box.
