My father in law was a patient of Pruitt health in ****, *** from May 25-June 13, 2024. When touring the facility, I was given an option to upgrade his room for $25 per day, which we did. They require that you pay for a month ahead of time, $750. I was told that I would be reimbursed for any unused days. I am entitled to a $325 refund. He was released on June 13th and as of today, I have not received my refund. I actually was emailed that they were going to charge my credit card $175 more. I immediately told them that there was a mistake and i did not give permission to please contact me to discuss. Since then I have made at least 13 phone calls only to speak to someone 2 times and still no resolution. It is nearly impossible to speak to anyone in the business office. I feel that they are doing this and dragging it out so they do not refund families. I actually went to the facility to speak to someone which was not helpful at all. This person was supposed to be the ** of *******, *******, and ***********. He actually argued with me that he spoke to me which i adimately told him he did not. He continued to insist that he did. This is unacceptable business practice. I am trying to reach their corporate office to file a complaint with them as well. *** help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
