Date of the transaction: 12/27/2021 I was quoted a $96 diagnostic fee by the owner. I agreed and scheduled the appointment to have my heating unit assessed because it was not blowing cool air. The tech came out, took about an hour to tell me a valve that had likely been overused was broken and needed to be replaced. He also promised not to charge me beyond the diagnostic. I receive a quote of nearly $700 total to get this "problem" fixed which included a diagnostic of $135 (lie number 1). We find this odd considering the unit is barely a year old. I reach out to ********************* for a second opinion, and I'm so glad I did! The owner of ********************* was so kind and knowledgeable and sent a tech out right away. The tech inspected my unit and saw nothing wrong at all which puzzled him. The ********************* tech was then prompted to check the meter, which was OFF. He turned it on and the heat began working. I explain this to the AComfort owner repeatedly and she does not budge and invoices me for labor on the unit based on the dishonest tech's notes and then threatened to send me to collections if I did not pay. What a disgusting, unethical, dishonest company. I was willing to pay the diagnostic I was originally quoted over the phone and was promised not to be charged beyond in my business by the tech but not the fabricated service and labor for a problem that did not exist. Here are the invoices between the two companies. AComfort (the dishonest company), ********************* (the honest company). ********************* documented 2 days after AComfort came, that the unit was perfectly normal (see images).AComfort's tech was untruthful about his assessment. I would like a refund of $135 which is the difference of the diagnostic fee I was quoted and the false labor I was charged.

****************** contact our company for a service call at her commercial location due to heating and air system not working. Our office staff quoted ****************** a $96.00 diagnostic fee for the first 30 minutes onsite and $135.00 per hour for any additional time needed to properly diagnosis the problem.  ****************** also confirmed this price was quoted to her at the time of service when she contacted me about her invoice. ****************** was charged a total of $231.00 that included the $96.00 diagnostic fee and $135.00 for the additional hour spent on jobsite. When talking with ******************, I did confirm with her the total time spend on the job site. We use GPS to track our technicians, I pulled the report while on the phone with ****************** and confirmed the time the technician arrived and left. ****************** didn't dispute the time on jobsite. I also confirmed the diagnostic with the technician and lead supervisor and found the diagnostic to be correct at the time of our visit. I also confirmed with the technician that he did check all the meters at the location at the time of his visit. Technician confirmed that he did and also stated that there are multiple meters and he checked each one to make sure.  ****************** does have the right to get  a second option, however payment was still expected for services she received from us.

****************** claims are false. She did confirm with me (the owner) the price quoted to her was $96.00 diag and $135.00 per hour after the first 30 minutes onsite. Basically, ****************** didn't want to pay for the services she received. When talking with her, she did state that she will not be paying the invoice. At that time, I did tell her payment was expected within 15 days (account was already past due). If payment wasn't received, her account will be turned over to our collections vendor.
