The initial problem began the day (October 4th 2023) that I purchased (2009 ****** Corolla LE) car. On my way home. Toxic exhaust fumes filled the air condition vents, which causes me dizziness and nausea. When I looked under the hood of the vehicle I saw a significant amount of rust on the engine and the ************** connected to it. The car knocks and shakes at every traffic light before shutting off completely. Which makes it impossible to drive efficiently and proves to be unsafe and unreliable. The cylinders arent functioning properly (because the car engine is bad and needs a new one) explained by Certified ****** Mechanic.Business response

This is a attempt to maliciously damage my business. Miss ******* is not new to purchasing cars from me or for that matter from anyone. This is her second purchase from me in just 3 years. The reason she came back is because she likes the quality of cars I sell along with the good prices. I have always been of service to her as well as helping her sell a the previous car that she purchase from me after she wrecked it. She is fully aware that she is purchasing AS IS. Nothing new. She is also aware that I have no objections on any customer bringing their one mechanic to look over the car, or i can even make arrangements to take it to a mechanic of the potential buyers choice. Miss ******* exercised that privilege and brought here own Mechanic/ boyfriend to inspect the car. We test drove it, he and she looked over the entire car inside and out also inspecting the engine and engine area. After going for a Test drive we came back and she decided to purchase the car. She was happy.
Fast forward....She started to complain about the car with things i had not experienced. All of a sudden after inspection, and purchasing she wants to complain. I believe she was having financial troubles and wanted money back to handle more pressing issues. I did explain to her as I always do YOU ARE BUYING THE *** "AS IS" , and she acknowledged that and as always signed the AS IS form.
After i explained to her that she had it inspected, liked it, and purchased it after inspection she started to threaten my business. She stated that she was going to do this...report me to entities to damage my business. I have been doing business here for a very long time and this is the first time someone is Malicious to me.
Attached is the AS IS form that she knew about and signed.
Please Stop this.

I am rejecting this response because:
I personally, did NOT visually check the cars ***** engine before buying it or I would have
NEVER bought the ****** Corolla from ****************, at ************ Motors in *******
**. ***** in the first place. Regardless that I purchased a car from him two years ago and
a deer ran into it within weeks afterwards. He referred me to a collision repair shop near
his Shop that bought my car from me and left a zero balance owe. Another reason why he had no
problem selling me another car after he asked about my down payment amount. He seemed down right anxious and contacted me several times to make sure I was coming.
Yet, he was completely silent and invisible when I asked for my money back on the same day that
I purchased the car. Day three while driving the car back to ************ Motors
it completely shut off at the light and wouldnt start again. Later when I finally arrive to speak to **************** he refused to make any concessions whatsoever. He NEVER even offered to get it diagnosed he refused to even look at the car and was not concern at all. He said that I purchased the car As-is and that it was my responsibility to check the car out before buying it. Then he said to me these are the facts.
I understood the As-is policy I asked ****** if h*** be willing to go beyond the As-is policy
and do anything to correct the problem and he looked at me and said No. I informed him that I
will file a complaint with the better business bureau to share the facts and my experience with the
my car purchase at ************ Motors ******* ** *****. This is NOT an attempt to maliciously misrepresent **************** or his business. My intentions are to help others to do due diligence before purchasing anything any car. Because As-is means As-is, and youre pretty much on your own after that.

FIrst I want to say that this is utterly Absurd that ****************** has any power to REJECT my response or anything for that matter. I only stated Facts in this matter. Let me reiterate the ***** for you: 1)This is ********************** SECOND used car purchase from me, that alone tells you I run a good business and she likes the quality of cars i stock. 2) She is fully aware of the NO WARRANTY AS IS Policy that she signed and we discussed. She has purchased Many used cars in her life and is not new the process. 3) She had the right to have the car inspected, and exercised that right by having it inspected by a mechanic of HER choice. After inspection by her, and her mechanic then after test drive SHE alone made the decision to purchase the car. Again AFTER she and HIM came back from driving the car.
When she came back to me with her mechanic after she purchased it complaining about the car I simply asked her " Are you trying to blame me for you purchasing a car you're not happy with?" I said shouldn't you be upset with yourself and your mechanic? I am not to blame. I didn't force you to buy anything. After that her and her mechanic was arguing because he felt she was also blaming him, but she should also take blame. This is just a case of buyers remorse. I believe she wanted to go buy a different car.
I have also made many purchases that didn't go my way and purchased "as is" . I just took it as is and moved on. AS IS is exactly what is says. Please stop Harassing me. I don't owe her anything. If i choose to do something positive in the future for her that is solely my choice and Not an obligation.
Also can someone from that office just call me.

I am rejecting this response because: This seems to have been a desperate scheme to take my money for nothing in return. Mr. ******* carefully scripted, three page As-is policy where he is solely the beneficiary, and leaving me literally stranded on the day of purchase of the vehicle has really caused me real problems and financial lost s due to the purchase of an unreliable piece of junk! Im extremely sorry for having had done business ************ Motors in ******* ******* ***** and ****************. A business is no better than the person that operates it. No, I am not at all satisfied. Restitution, is the only resolution.
