    I bought a new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD custom package in October of 2020. It had 15 miles and the 3-year/******-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. The finance manager talked me into an extended warranty for when the factory warranty expired to ******* miles. **** I wrecked my truck and the insurance totaled it out with ****** miles. **** when I went to cancel the warranty and get a refund for the rest of the policy. They are trying to tell me that it started when I bought the truck at 15 miles, but I was told by the finance manager (who is no longer with cronic Chevrolet) that it started after my factory warranty. Beside why would I need a warranty for the 1st ****** miles when I have the factory warranty, that just don't make any sense to by a warranty on top of the factory warranty, especially when it's already covered. So when I went to cancel it they said it started from when I bought the car and are trying to adjust what I get back as though it started at 0 instead of ******. That's what the warranty company said along with the dealership. I told them that's not what I was told and the new finance manager said the warranty starts when you buy it and not after the factory warranty and Saud it makes the warranty cheaper. Which is a bunch of c*** because I looked it up and extended warranty from the dealership are more expensive. Also for the dealership to be ****** warranty over the factory warranty and telling you should be criminal because if something happens, your factory warranty will cover the issue not the extended warranty. So they are ****** you something that they know is false and they are not telling you the truth about what they are doing. I just want what's right, the refund for what it's supposed to be, ****** to ******* and not 0 to ******* and for the dealerships not to be ****** false warrantys

    My wife and I have a **** F250 that we used to support a 5th wheel camper. We recently sold the camper and wished to trade for a lighter weight vehicle. I previously have owned both Chevrolet and GMC trucks and elected to shop those for a replacement. We visited Cronic Chevrolet in Griffin, ******* on August 4. We were shown a GMC **** and it appeared to meet our needs, so we reached a trade agreement for a similar vehicle, of a different color, that had been ordered and was shown in transit. The due date for receipt at the dealership was shown to be August 28th. We were told that a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 would be required to hold the inbound truck and that the trade difference would be a total of $3275.50. I signed an agreement, gave them my card and was given a copy. The expected delivery was delayed to September 8 and the sales person contacted me around the 28th to advise me of the change. The delivery was delayed further and he contacted me today to say that the truck had arrived and would be inspected, cleaned and serviced. My wife and I went to Cronic this afternoon and were told that they would not honor their agreement and the balance owed would be adjusted to over $5,000. That plus the deposit of $1,000 would place the trade difference to over $6,000. I insisted on the refund of the deposit and they did credit it back to my card.I understand supply chain issues and delays in delivery. I do not understand the total lack of integrity on the part of Cronic. We had an agreed trade price and I agreed to a non-refundable deposit. They agreed to a trade difference dollar value.
