I paid for roadside service on April 8th for a new battery and for the roadside provider to put the battery in. Since then, I've had to utilize the services of 2 other road service providers in order to get my car started again. On May 2nd, one provider (for a cost of $65) told me that the battery was missing a critical bolt to make a connection. The second provider (provided free of charge by my insurance on May 5th) told me that the connecting cables weren't connecting. Either way, my battery should be in working condition and I shouldn't need any other services this soon after buying a new battery. The business is not quick to respond to texts and won't provide critical information such as an ETA, which should be standard for a roadside assistance company. I am seeking a refund for the service charge of $300.Business response

Your battery was replaced with a brand new Duracell battery from our company. You also had rusted wires and I came out multiply times despite the volume of calls I had at the time to assist you. Everytime your car was left after we came it was fixed; what you do once we are gone is on you. The battery had a warranty not your wires. Customers feel entitled to services but fail to realize when the problem is their fault. My job is to get you off the side of the road not babysit every little problem that arises. Im not a mechanic and this isnt a mechanic business its an EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE COMPANY and Id appreciate if you all would act and treat it as such. There are no refunds because you cannot provide my service back to me. Once the job is complete the transaction is over.
