I placed an online order with **************** on ******** ** and received the item on ******* ** I have been trying to contact the business via a form on their website since the arrival of the item (no documentation due to the fact I used THEIR online form). I have also sent a personal email to the same email address given on their website (maddie@avrietthouse****). I have received no response to date *********. Today I called the store and was told the owner was not available. Their website says disputes need to happen within 10 days of receiving an item - which I tried to do. The item I received was USED (extremely yellowed price tag on bottom, had batteries already in it, it was not in an original box, and the electric/USB cord was missing). I believed I was ordering a NEW item and paid ******** I have asked for an exchange - them giving me a NEW (same) item or a refund. No response. Please help me resolve this issue and warn others of this business' fraudulent business practices.Business response

Customer ****** *****) claims she reached out three times, I only received two emails. Both emails were received on ********* within minutes of each other, approximately around 5:00 p.m.. I have attached those emails above. I responded to those emails on ********* at 5:52 p.m. I have attached that email response explaining the issue, apologizing for the issue she had with her item, and offering a return. I never received a response back form that email. Once I received the message she gave an employee when she called the shop (Saturday *********), I forwarded my response to her & also gave her a call. I figured there was an issue with our emails not getting to each other, since she had not responded to me, and I apparently had not received her first initial email, but promptly responded when I received her last two. She did not answer my phone call, but I left her a message to let her know to please call me back. Once she called me back, I explained I had sent her two emails offering a return, with no response. She claims she never got those, but we did settle on a solution. This was an issue of (what seems like) lost emails on both parties.
