I attempted to get my medication a week prior to Nov 16th & was informed over the phone that it was filled but I got there and they realized that I needed a new prescription & a prior authorization. However the pharmacists had already filled it & because of the inconvenience she gave me 3 pills to get me through until the prior-authorization is cleared. I came into the pharmacy on Nov 16th at 11am est after a week and giving the authorization time to clear. ******* was my contact person and she stated that the prescription was cancelled & put back because it's been over 14 days. I say that's not possible I was here a week ago they needed a new prescription & prior-auth this makes me so frustrated with this pharmacy. ******* says you can feel how you want then proceeds to ask a pharmacist (Melody) about my meds. While ******* is speaking to Melody I state how this experience has been the worst how bad I need my meds & how sick I feel I then hear ******* says things back to me stating how this isn't her ************************ comes back I inform Melody I'd rather speak to her.Melody states the pre-auth nor the new prescription is there. I said my oncologist stated she sent it & last week you guys said the new prescription was there now all I need was the pre-auth from my insurance. I then say how my hot flashes are so intense that I'm miserable and ******* says Infront of the entire store "That medication is NOT for hot flashes I know what that medication is for & it's not for hot flashes" in that moment I feel crushed, embarrassed, humiliated and belittled to have everyone hear her say that. Melody asks ******* to go to the back but she doesn't The medicine is ***************** primarily used to treat depression BUT it's also used to aid in the help of reducing hot flashes. I can't believe that Moyes has a manager that would discriminate against me, speak about my HIPPA protected health condition in a confrontational aggressive manner for the entire store to hear.
