      My husband's brother had been searching for an engine for my husband's truck and contacted ****** Automotive. They told him they had an engine and the price was $1700. Everything seemed legit until they went to order the engine. They asked for the credit card number and then started adding on other fees, shipping (which my brother-in-law that was included in the $1700}, handling, Federal Tax (which we have never heard of such a thing, and a core charge. Came to $444.94. They charged my husband a down payment of $401.94. My husband felt uneasy about it all. I researched the company only to find many complaints such as on this site and on ******* They sent us documents by email, but on the documents it said we had to agree by sending back an email saying "I agree" to confirm. We never did. It also stated we had 4 days to change our mind. They called this morning to cancel the order and they refused saying it was already in progress, would not refund the money and said they had already tried to charge the remaining amount on our card this morning, only I had canceled the card so they couldn't. They don't tell you in advance that the down payment is non-refundable. You only see it when you get the paperwork. After reading complaint after complaint, this is how they make their money.. I filed a complaint with the ********************************** This company needs to be shut down. Total scam artists. We are elderly and this is total elder abuse at it's finest. That $401.94 is grocery money for us. Please help put a stop to this company.

      My brother **************** was online negotiating purchase of two( 2) engines from Jasper *********** Both were in disagreement on price. ***** told him he is no longer interested in the transaction, and he would be cancelling the transaction. They were on speaker and I was talking with my credit card company to not honor transaction to which **** said I am going to charge your card. ***** ask him charge card for what? I dont need the engine. He insisted he was going to charge the card. In less than 2 minutes my card was charge $850. The two engines they were negotiating over cost $5437.48. What did this charge represents? This person is not an honest actor based on the conversation he was having on the phone

      My spouse bought a rebuilt engine through this company. They promised a 90 day minimum warranty and paperwork showing said warranty and how many original miles were on the engine (which we paid extra for a lower mileage engine.)It has been two months and many phone calls later, and we have not received any such paperwork.

      I gave them $500 towards My Engine I was buying told him I would finish paying on the 25th so the very next day I received my money unexpectedly, so I called them to pay it off. We had a disagreement and I told him I want to refund they said no then I called him back and told him to just charge my card. I didnt wanna deal with them anymore. I just wanted My Engine they sent me sales orders making me believe that My Engine was on its way as it turns out. They never charge my card and I went a week waiting for nothing. I just want my money back.

      jan 24th intial purchase used engine from jasper ******************** paid deposit 667 then when shipped paid other 1800. i was sent bad motor from them. i show them they was sending another motor i asked for pictures. The pictures looked just like motor i recieved firt time. ******** was full water it had rats nest in it oil/water mixed. at this point i ask for refund they gave me the 1800 i waslike ok next couple days nothing elses i ask where th 667 is they said you dont get shipping and taxes back and you need to ship motor back ya no i dont think so. This is not my fault you sent me bad motor i should not be responsiable for that. it would be one thing if i accepted and said i dont want anymore or was using engine then said something wrong i want refunf=d or warranty. but this was sent bad to me that should not be at my expense. so they wont repond to me me they havent refunded the other 667 dollars so basicly i have engine that is not useful and im out 700 dollars now to try save up again and find another used motor to get my vehichale running *****.

      Purchased a used motor from *********** is for my 2012 GMC Truck.This was on July 5,2023. I spoke to ***********************. He gave me a price of $2491.48.When they took the payment out of my account they took $2591.48. I have called them a half dozen times only to be told that is 24 - 48 hours I would get my refund. As of today still refund.Jaspers Headquarters in ******* say that this place is not affiliated with them. The number I have been calling is **************. They claim they are part of Jaspers.I just want my $100 back. Have supporting docuentation attachd.Best regards *********************

      Good morning. After reviewing the complaint and associated paperwork this complaint has nothing to do with Jasper ******* and Transmissions. The business listed is Jaspers Automotive located in ******, **.

      I purchased an engine and computer that was supposed to have ******* miles on it on 6/16/23 for $9494.48 from Jaspers automotive. On 7/10/23 the engine was delivered to our mechanics shop without the computer. We can not use the engine without the computer. We called right away to let them know that everything wasnt provided, they have assured me they were going to ship out the computer and provide me with tracking information but this never happened. Over the last 3 weeks we have called and emailed numerous times to no avail. They have become hostile over the phone and will not respond to emails. I have filed a complaint with the attorney General in Georgia as well as disputing charges with my bank, when I spoke with my bank I realized that ****** automotive only charged my card for $1500.48 and $300, and a different company called Benzeen Auto Parts charged my card for $7645 (I didn't authorize anyone but ****** Automotive to charge my card). I need a full refund at this point. I am willing to ship back the engine (at their expense) but they will not tell me where to ship it to. Sales order# *****
