The date of the transaction was July 5, 2022. I entered into a contract with the said company for them to replace a deck according to HOA specifications. I had the old deck and informed them that the deck had to be exactly like what i currently had to be in compliance with HOA. We agreed to this contract solely because they provided a reasonable estimate, provided proof of their work and agreed to start earlier than other quotes I was provided. They weren't able to start work as stated in the verbal agreement with the owner and I wasn't informed of this until repeatedly inquiring. The owner wasn't very responsive and kept lying about when he would get to the job. When he finally got to the job it was a week later and the finished product wasn't in compliance with HOA requirements. I informed the owner and he kept promising to return but never did. When I kept holding his feet to the fire about showing up he said he wouldn't return and that he had fulfilled his obligation. He said I was a pain to work with and he wouldn't return to get the deck in compliance as we had agreed in the contract and what I paid he him. He took my money and didn't deliver a finished product up to HOA compliance and according to the contract. I feel he operates a very fraudulent and reckless business. The owner is a true definition of a ******** and he needs to be held responsible for his actions. I advised my entire neighborhood to not deal with him because he doesn't deliver, is rude and very unprofessional. The item he was supposed to fix so I could be in compliance was minor but because he is a ******** he wouldn't hold up his end of contract and return to complete the work I paid him to do. I provided a picture of what my deck privacy wall should look like and what he had his contractor do. The privacy wall was reduced and now my neighbors can see onto my deck. This isn't in compliance with my HOA.
