February 26, 2021- purchased new starter w/ 1 yr. warranty and got installed along with additional services totaling $ ******* February 19th, 2022- car not starting, the starter is bad. I get the car towed to ******** with the original receipt. Get a call from ************* day that the starter was the issue and that it was under warranty, but the labor to install it would $336. I oppose to the labor cost, and feel that any overhead cost should be on the company that supposedly install a NEW starter eleven months ago. **** then stated that they had a 30 day labor warranty, but that is not stated on any of the documents. It is not ethical to come up with policies spurt of moment and makes the client unaware.. So I had to pay two labor costs for the same job, on installation of a replacement starter. A starter that was suppose to be new and have a longer life than 11 months. I bring the car back and the part is under warranty, I feel the company should install it under warranty.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at **********'s Auto. On July 11, I brought my car in for an inspection after it suddenly stopped working. I paid $165 for an inspection, and the mechanic diagnosed a problem with the coolant sensor. After resetting the computer, they assured me that the car was fine and I only needed to return if the check engine light came on.However, within three minutes of driving away, my car started smoking, and I immediately returned to the shop. They then diagnosed a corroded radiator cap as the issue and added more antifreeze. Upon returning home, I noticed coolant spraying from the side of the radiator coolant overflow bottle, which was not an issue before my visit. The overflow bottle cap was not secured properly, leading to the threading on the radiator coolant overflow bottle being freshly melted and causing a new hole and coolant leakage. When I returned to **********'s Auto, they denied any responsibility for the damage caused during their service. This experience has left me with a damaged vehicle and additional repair costs that I should not have to bear.Under the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act (FBPA) and the ************* Vehicle Repair Act, businesses are required to perform work in a workmanlike manner and are responsible for any damage caused during repairs. **********'s Auto failed to adhere to these standards, and their refusal to take accountability is unacceptable.
