I signed up with Touched by an Angel to get certified as a nail tech. After a few weeks I became very dissatisfied by the service and how everything was going. The entire atmosphere was not conducive to learning. While trying to test the employees would sit around talking about their personal lives in a very loud voice making it very hard to concentrate. Several times I asked them to keep it down and I was ignored. I also found that answers to test questions were no aligned with the answers found in the test and I questioned this also and was ignored. Finally I called the principal owner Miss **************************** and tried to lodge a complain with her to see if she would work with me to resolve my issues. During our phone conversation she was abusive, not willing to listen, rude and very defensive. Finally she said I am kicking you out of my school come and get your money back. I left my house and started driving to her school only for her to call me and tell me not to come because she would not be there. I turned around and went home . Once at home I sent her a request on cash app for her to refund my monies, $950 but she rejected my request and blocked **** would never recommend this school to anyone. There is a very low level of professionalism that runs through the entire organization.ThanksInitial Complaint

I was looking to pursue a career in cosmetology. I went online, and this school came up. I spoke to the owner on the phone several times with my husband asking numerous questions about the school it seems legit. On 02/27/23 I went there to fill out the application forms and was told it was a year program instead of 10 months program which the owner told me when I spoke to her on the phone. I had some questions about the application. I told the receptionist I can still pay the registration fee $550 since I was desperate to start school. The receptionist told me I have 3 days to change my mind for my $550 to be refunded back to me after that it's non refundable. I filled out some of the forms did not make $550 payment. The receptionist told me I can come in the next day to speak with the owner to any unanswered questions on the application form. The next day 02/28/23, I back to the school spoke with the owner, she answered some questions, still had some doubts, but went ahead and pay the $550 registration fee. The owner told me I have 3 days to change my mind and they would refunded my money. Less than 6 hours I called and left a message stating I am not interested. Since I used cashapp to make the payment, I went on cashapp requesting refund stating I am canceling my application. On 03/01/23, I saw a missed call from the school. I returned the call and spoke with the owner. She refused to give me back my $550 and states it was not refundable and she hung up on me. Please help me get back my money
