I reached out to view the event space for a family gathering after the loss of a parent. we discussed what i wanted and she gave me a price after viewing the location with her ambassador/mother. I booked for 03/19/2022 after several conversations. The Refundable deposit was ****** and it was invoiced with the space, tables, chairs and linens. The total was ****** for everything. After I received the invoice, I paid in full the amount. On the day of the event, I asked can my husband come and get the key (one was to be provided the day of the event) , after we paid and in route to decorate, we were informed that there was no key once my husband arrived and that the door would be left open for us. I informed them that I was not comfortable with the door being left open because of the items we were putting inside. The ambassador/mother was very rude and I said ok leave it open since I already paid and didn't want to lose my ******, then she stated that she's not leaving the door open so call us when we need to get in and out but make it soon because she had things to do. I was extremely uncomfortable but still not trying to lose my money. I said that would inconvenience everyone so there has to be a better way. She said they are working on a remote access for the future or a lock box or code. My husband left and we were getting prepared to decorate for the event. I then received a text message saying "Also please tell your husband to be a little nicer to the studio ambassador Mrs. ******** I informed her that I was on the phone while he was there and he was not rude at all, that is not in his character so I'm unsure of where that came from" After that we were not comfortable meeting up with her due to the false allegations and no longer wanted to occupy her space, because if someone can fabricate a story that didn't happen, We didn't know what they were capable of accusing us of. This was 1.5 hours into the event time. I requested a refund and was denied.
