2 weeks ago I took Mr. Tyrone's Basic Firearm Class with my sister and the experience exceeded my expectations. I have always been that person that never felt the need or desire to have a gun and certainly didn't want one in my home. Well, fast-forward with the changes in the world and living alone my perception has changed but I wanted to make my decision regarding owning a gun based on knowledge and education. Well Mr. Tyrone's class did that for me. He was very knowledgeable, spoke to us about different types of guns and the importance of gun safety. He clearly explained and answered any questions that we had. During our shooting practice Mr. Tyrone was attentive , encouraging all the while emphasizing gun safety and control but mixed in some fun. I left there feeling I could make a better educated decision about owning a gun and feeling more at ease regarding carrying a gun. Looking forward to my next class.

I finally took this training after many years of fear and self doubt. I wasn’t sure what to expect, however it exceeded anything I would have ever imagined. Tyrone took the time out to simplify the theory backed by an incredibly solid foundation of practical knowledge. The information was conveyed in a professional manner, organized, informative, and empowering. It was my first time ever shooting a gun. He made it easy to follow, and provided room for feedback and reinforcements. I strongly recommend this course, and yes, I now feel comfortable with the desire to own a gun for self defense and a new found hobby. Thanks again to Action Armory for all you do. My boyfriend & I did the First Shots class about two weeks ago. Not going to lie, I was a bit nervous going in, but by the time we finished I was feeling much more comfortable handling a gun. Tyrone was very thorough and patient from start to finish. The safety part of this course definitely set the tone for me to get past the jitters. I recommend anyone new to guns, needing to face the fear or just a refresher (like myself) to take this course. Just finished the First Shots class with Action Armory and had a blast. I've had firearms training before but learned quite a few new techniques. Ty made sure everyone was safe, he was thorough, and a top notch professional. You'll walk away feeling confident in your firearms capability. Oh and the open fire after the class was EPIC! There are so many great things to say about Action Armory's services, products, and programs. Everything is always very professional, timely, neat, organized, educational; I mean the list goes on and on. What is there not to like about Action Armory?! And to top it off, Mr. Tyrone G. is always so upbeat, positive, patient, motivating, knowledgeable, caring and passionate. He truly is firm on safety yet such a gentle guiding light for those on their journey to becoming a safe firearm owner or seeking to learn or enhance their shooting skills. Shout out to the Masterful Instructor Tyrone G****** @ Action Armory. I am a 20+ year military Veteran who learn a bit more (better hand placement) at the First Shots event that took me to the next level. My personal target acquisition increased phenomenally! Class and classmates also made the experience that much more fulfilling. My family plan to get with the next class when our schedules permit. I had a great time at the First Shots event with instructor Tyrone. It was fun and I learned a lot being that it was my first time at a range and handling a hand gun. The training was great, very thorough and with repetitive emphasis on safety all of which I really liked.
