      I signed a lease for my Mother *********************** to reside at Brickmont Assisted living based on month to month. The lease was signed on 12-7-22. The rent is at a rate $116.50 per day. My Mother was moved from Brickmont Facility on 1-29-24 (I have a copy of the moving invoice confirming move out date ******* 29,2024). I have a copy of a payment ledger provided to me from Brickmont showing charges/payments for 14 months. The ledger shows ******* 2024 had been paid. No balanced owed but $50.00 for tray charges. Brickmont sent a bill for February in the amount of $3,543.50. I responded that my Mothe *********************** moved out in ******* and no charges for February are owed as this was a month to month lease. Brickmont responded that my Mother did not move out until February 2024. I sent a copy of the moving invoice from the moving company confirming the date of the move of ******* 29th 2024. I am filing this complaint due to fraudulent charges, and I am not able to communicate with anyone via phone to resolve. Brickmont only will respond through emails and will not address the issue to even confirm receiving my documentation that I have sent along with a copy of their own payment ledger. Brickmont is now sending threatening mail for February 2024 billing to be paid. I have a copy of their email confirming they are billing for February 2024. It has been rumored that Brickmont does this to elderly people who signs their own lease and do not have someone to advocate for them and left at Brickmont mercy of fraudulent financial demands. If anything, Brickmont owes the $116.50/day rate charged for two days as the move out date was ******* 29, 2024. I would like this to be reported so that if this continues to happen to others that there is a record of a pattern of financial fraudulent abuse by Brickmont. I would like this resolved with your help and oversight. I would like to receive in writing that February is not owed and billing is in error on their part.
