************ is just money hungry i tried to pay as much as i could. Just had a child and times are hard and they wouldnt accept my payment. When was it unacceptable to take any amount of payments. WOW!!!

If our customers are having difficulties making their payments, LendingPoint has several assistance programs available but were unable to discuss them with you, as you disconnected the call. this place is THE WORST COMPANY. I have NEVER met such empatethic individuals in my life!!! Life happens! This economy isn't good in anyway! Understand that people's finances change and YOU as a human shouldn't be treating people without EMPATHY. I was so disgusted at one of the supervisors - I couldn't believe they were in management! DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. You never know what could happen...and these people will LIE and tell you thinge (THAT ARE RECORDED) BUT REFUSE, to apologize, and IN GOOD FAITH, make it right based on YOUR EMPLOYEE's lack of knowledge! LendingPoint bought my loan from the company it was initially made through. In doing so they increased my loan amount by roughly 900$, raised the rates, and failed to produce any paperwork that showed my signature or any paperwork showing that I agreed to any terms. I do not know where the 900$ increase in my loan came from or where it went. I have asked for paperwork showing any documentation of me entering into any agreement with this company, and they did not reply at all. I constantly have to call to make payments even though my account is setup to autodraft (which they also cannot tell me why). When I ask any questions I am simply told they do not know. My original loan was for 5617$ but lendingtree is stating I have a loan with them for 6500$. They cannot produce paperwork at all that even has my signature or assist me in anyway.Review from Guerlyne S

Lending Point is complete trash. I have been paying this loan on time for 3 years. I lost my job in Feb 2024 and they gave me 3 months lower payment. I have yet to obtain a job and the company is refusing the defer my payment another 3 months or even work with me to obtain a lower payment. I spoke to Supervisor ***** who kept repeating policies at me. Ill be reporting them to the ******************************* General. They have no regard for whats going on and no empathy to someone who has made their payment on time. Ill never use them again and want to make sure everyone else knows not to use them.Review from Andrew P

Awful awful company. Their online portal is always down, and I havent ever received my final bill in the mail. Making payments online when I havent received even one piece of mail. Theyre lazy and I wish I could give them worse than 0 stars.Review from Alicia C

Was happy with the loan initially. However, after a certain point in your pay off process you start getting constant emails and calls trying to get you to take out additional money. I appreciate the one offer, but if I ignore it they continue to send emails and calls and this feels extremely unnecessary.Review from Nick C

Lending point took a payment over 15k, lost it, and continues to push aside for 6 weeks. We have provided proof of payment feom discover and nothing. Discover offered to help and lending point said no.Review from Kim M

Huge scammers! The first month my pmt was 1 day late so they charged 25% interest!! I was never notified. I' ve never heard of no grace ******* Was the only month I was late. I would not recommend them. No customer service! I would have never gone with them except my dentist referred me.LendingPoint, LLC Response

At a 25% interest rate, Lending Point seems like a predatory lender. They were the only option I had for needed dental work. At the end of my loan Ill have paid $4,500 on a $2,500 loan. Completely unconscionable.Review from Toritsematse O

I paid off THE FULL AMOUNT of my loan ,which was excess of $10,000. I received confirmation via email my loan had been paid off. Two weeks go by and my account is overdrafted due to $-721 charge coming from lendingpoint. I Called the customer service line demanding an explanation as to why my account is still being charged when I already provided full payment and receipt was generated. I have never missed any payments with lendingpoint but now due to their negligence my account has been overdrafted and now i will receive late marks on my credit history because of their carelessness. I have paid off other loans before with other companies and I have NEVER had my account still deducted after payment confirmation. Do not over promise customers on refunds dates only for the customer to have to deal with the harsh reality your staff doesn't have a clue what they're doing.
