On May 8th, 2024, I contacted Home Warranty of America (HWA) because my ** unit stop working. *** assigned me to Top Tier **************************** LLC (TTHA). I contacted *** on May 9, 2024, for a follow up because *************************** the owner of TTHA had not contacted me. *** sent me an email with the appointment date of May 20th. At this point I'm upset because my daughter has asthma and this heat is now posing possible health concern. On May 20th, 2024, I contacted **************** 8 times because he NEVER followed through with his appointment. I realized that he was not honoring the appointment. ****************** hangs up the phone in my ear. He calls hours later to inform me that he was on his way. Upon arrival ******* collected the $85 service fee. He stated if *** approves my claim that there would be an out-of-pocket expense of $1000. ******* stated it shouldn't be long, once he submits my claim to HWA. On May 25th, 2024, I had to literally call HWA because so much time had elapsed. *** stated they were waiting on the parts to fix the *** On June 22nd, I called HWA to see if the parts had come in; an appointment was made for June 25, 2024 at 5:30pm. ****************** does not show up until 9:43pm and finishes at 1am! I Zelle'd ******************, $1260 because he would not start the work until he was paid. Before he leaves he tells me that he had to come back because the wires on the new unit are different from the older model next to it and he couldn't figure it out. He ensured me the ** should still work; it didn't. I informed him that I would be out of town and I needed it fixed before or on June 29th. On Saturday June 29, 2024, at 8:38 am, I texted him to see if he was coming; no response until June 30, 2024, to inform me that he was on his way. I would like my money back because the services expected were NOT rendered. I just want my $1260 back so I can pay a professional to get my ** fixed. As of July 14, 2024, the ** is not fixed.
