I spoke with Salesman ************************* about getting a death date engraved on my mother's Monument and ordering a VA foot marker for my father's grave. This was on September 7, 2023. I paid the charges that day and was told that the VA marker might take ***** weeks. I called several times in January for and update and was told by **************** to give them another week or two. Since then I have been unable to get any response from him via phone or text, the corporate phone messages or corporate e-mails. I have documentation for calls and texts almost weekly with no response. It is my understanding that the VA work is being processed in less than ************************************************************************************* and my family and we would like a resolution ASAP.Business response

***************** has been terminated by ***************** and we are gathering more information for this and several other items that were not handled correctly.
The items are on order and will be completed as soon as we possibly can. In the meantime, we are corresponding with *********** to assure communications are fulfilled.

I and my daughter purchased, paid in full, a monument for my husband back in March, 2023. We have been lied to over and over again regarding their contact with a vendor on their part as well as giving us false statements. They have been telling us it would be completed in 2 weeks since June; its now November. They refuse to answer calls as and when they do its always another excuse and outright lie. They were very cordial with my daughter who was with me from the very beginning of the transaction and contract negotiations. Mr. *************************** and ************************* had no problem dealing with her from the beginning until I decided that enough was enough and believe they were pulling a scam. We as a family have been through an emotional roller coaster and this 84 yo woman having no closure due their unscrupulous business practices is taking a toll. I paid for a product almost 8 months ago and it has not been received. How could they be so dishonest and dismissive..Business response

Please note that the monument was complete and we just received the required signed installation authorization form from the authorized person on Thursday November 30th. We are attempting to get an installation date from cemetery to finalize the schedule. I am at a loss as to why this BBB complaint was issued after our request for a required form from an authorized agent.

My letter was sent a week before any communication from Atlanta Monument. There had been no response from the company in weeks as I stated in the initial complaint. We received and signed the forms on this past Thursday with the understanding that the monument is to be placed by this coming Friday. Spoke with manager at the cemetery who stated that she had been contacted and hoped that all dimensions were going to fit as the company should have confirmed measurements at an earlier datewe ordered 7 months ago. So yes, I did contact BBB again (my daughter did the first time back in late September) as we were being ignored and given numerous excuses. They have made a very traumatic and painful experience even worse.Business response

This is a repeat complaint that has already been closed! The monument was installed on 12/14/2023 after the approval and scheduling with the cemetery as described earlier. The family has been notified of the completion.

My family and I ordered a headstone for my father on March 31st, 2023 with Atlanta Monument/Supa Memorial. The sales person was ***************************. The contract states that the monument "shall be completed within ***** weeks", that was 28 weeks ago. The company, including **************** and VP of Operations, ************************* have been giving us the run around and excuses as to why and when the headstone was to be completed. They state that the headstone is "still in production" or they have not been able to contact their vendor for updates. When you can get them on the phone (as they have stopped responding to emails and texts), they tell you that they are going to contact vendor and call you right back. This is never the case; we've had to call them back sometimes a week later only to be told that it'll be two weeks and we have prioritized your order. The last email rec'd from **************** in August, **************************************************** 2-3 weeks. I was finally able to speak to him on September 22, 2023 as he did not respond to calls, emails or texts, and was told that it was still in production and he would call me right back with a date from vendor...still waiting for his phone call and today is October, 6th, 2023. I sent a certified letter on September 17th with signature on receipt...it has been forwarded to an unknown address according to ***** I sent this same letter requesting a full refund to ****************, ************* and the company email noted on website. **************** did disclose that he rec'd the letter on his phone and email.**************** was given a cashier's check as requested and payment in full for a product that has not been delivered and we have been patient although this has been an emotional rollercoaster. This has taken a toll on my mother and family. We just want our money back so we can purchase a monument for my father who was buried in February, 2023.Business response

The agreement noted is not in your name. For privacy and legal concerns, we cannot give details to anyone other than the purchaser who signed the agreement.
As reported to the purchaser, the monument is in production with one of our best vendors. Due to unprecedented worldwide logistic and supply issues with granite, they are experiencing delays that cannot be helped.
In reference to your statement regarding "the agreement contract states that the monument "shall be completed within ***** weeks"; our agreement says no such thing. The agreement clearly states that dates are a "good faith best estimate" and we cannot guarantee a delivery date. This is a custom ordered piece of stone.
Another item in the agreement states that once the item is put into production sic "no refund will be issued and the agreement cannot be canceled for any reason. Please have the purchaser call the office number on the agreement, not the sales persons personal cell phone, to get any additional updates that *** be available,

Our family had order and paid in full for my dad s stone and maker in Nov of 2021 since then after many unanswered and leaving many messages in March of this year , they told us everything were ready only waiting for install . Now , July , we still have not seen it installed yet and they are NOT ANSWER or RETURN our phone called .Business response

We purchased Atlanta Monument Company in January of 2022. I can find no agreement nor information regarding any agreement with Atlanta Monument Company.
We have had similar complaints regarding a couple former employees that were selling markers without our knowledge as Atlanta Discount Monuments out of our ********************* . They also have sold under several other dbas incyMetro *********** and Embalming, PDM Enterprises, and most recently, ****************** The company information is on the Secretary of States business page. The owner and registered agent is *********************. Her contact information is also on the website.

We were able to speak directly with the family earlier today regarding their posted complaint. There have been attempts to communicate directly with the family. Multiple people have contacted ** which may have contributed to the confusion. We have an automated phone service that is monitored daily. It is our goal to respond timely within ***** hours to the families we serve. I have assured the family their order placed with ** is in the final stages of production and will be installed timely once received inhouse. ** speaking with the daughter and son-in-law they are comfortable going forward and know ************* will update them expeditiously until the matter is resolved.

Bought marker for my dad's grave it was almost ********. Then had is veterans bronze marker delivered there for them to install. They keep saying that they do not have yet and refuse to come up with a 2nd plan. My father-in-law died of cancer 6 weeks after my dad died and his marker has been in for 7 months. I just want what I paid for and for my dad to have the marker so everyone will know where he is buried. Please, Please help me get my dad's marker. Thank you.Business response

His business was Metro *********** and ********* Services, LLC dba "Atlanta Discount Monuments". We have recently been receiving contract, delivery, and payment inquiries to our office regarding this matter. I am rejecting this response because: I am trying to get ************************************* and ********************************* granite monuments installed.He has them at his ******** Office and they need to be installed by September the 9, 2022. They have had this order since August 2021 and have not
