The trailers safety chains were incorrectly installed which led to a on road failure. I contacted carry-ons customer service, and they told me the trailer incorrectly placed on the hitch. The issue was the failure of the safety chains.Initial Complaint

I bought a Carry on trailer and have had to change the tires twice since the manufacturer tires and the axle is going have to be changed for the second time. The manufacturer will not reimburse me for the axle, the tow, or the 4-5 tires I have had to buy from ******** *****, and *********. I want a full refund of the value of the trailer for faulty craftsmanship. I have spent $500 on tires, $335 on a new axle, $88 repair on the fender, $300 on a tow truck. I also sent them all the receipts and sent it with a tracking number and it still sitting at the post office and no one has picked it up yet.Initial Complaint

Paint on trailer extremely poor. No primer was applied, under a very cheap one coat of paint. After 2 months all parts of the trailer had rust showing through the paint. Paint estimate to repaint is $580.00.Also, cheap non radial tires are wearing badly and causes trailer to wag. It needs radial tires, estimate $280 both.Initial Complaint

I have ordered and paid for a replacement door for my enclosed trailer. I ordered the door on June 14th I have called and been hung up on . I have called and been told we will call you back. I was told it would take a little while as they had to build the door. I understand but we are coming up on 4 months. I would like my door delivered as promised. I had to order through my local tractor supply they have also reached out to Carry-on with limited response.Initial Complaint

On May 21, 2023 I purchased a 6x14 gate wf tandem trailer manufactured by Carry-On from the Tractor Supply Store #**** located ******************************************************************* price was $3,499.99. On July 31, 2023, I notice all over the trailer rust spots started appearing. In fact after further looking at it you can see where the paint is popping up from the rust underneath. Had a local automotive paint professional look at it. He states the rust is underneath the paint pushing the paint up until it pops off. He showed me where other spots were beginning to pop up from the rust underneath. Called ***************** where I purchased the trailer, they informed me since it has been over 30 days I need to reach out to Carry-on. I did and over the past 17 days Carry-On claims it is not there issue since the Warranty does not cover "Paint Deterioration". This is not a "Paint Deterioration" problem, it is a workmanship and materials issue. The material "metals" were not clean and prepared correctly before Painting and or there was moisture on the metals before painting. After Contacting Carry-On, they offer me $150. This is not sufficient to do anything. Then they offered me $250. Again this will not solved the issue. The only way to resolved it is to sand blast all the metals, the correctly prime the metal then paint. After refusing the $250 they told me my issue is with the Tractor Store.I notice that this will not be the first time Carry-On had problems with paint & rust.I like the trailer, I drove 68 miles to buy this model of trailer. What I do not like is the Manufacturer not standing behind the product they manufactured.Initial Complaint

I purchaed a Carry-On 5x8 trailer from Northern Tool in Aug of 2022. It was used for 4 trip to compose site with leaves last year then stored. This spring I used and heard a noise, finding the ** wheel was loose on the axle. I found there was no ****** pin installed to secure the bearing nut, I did finally find a hole for the pin it was severly off center and required a much smaller pin for securing the nut, not safe. Carry-On refuses to take responsability and requires the customer to file further issues with component manufacturers instead of taking care of the problem.Initial Complaint

Purchased a 4x6 utility trailer from ***************************** May 23 2022 ***** defaced the certificate of origin I can not get the trailer registered in my home ********************* carry on trailer corp. Will not issue me a duplicate title ***** refuses to cooperate and cancelled the purchase order to get a duplicate.Business response

As the original manufacturer of trailers we well our trailers to our Dealer Network. We are not licensed to sell to the general public. Therefore, we are unable to provide duplicate MCO's to the end customers and must provide to the purchasing Dealer only. I have attempted to contact ************** and will work with our ****** sales team to find the right resource that will assist him in his quest. Please have him contact me directly.Initial Complaint

We purchased a trailer from this company and it has manufacturers defects. They have determined they will not repair it and will not provide a refund. They say that it is out of warranty, although they agree that it is a manufacturers defect and should not have been.Initial Complaint

I pitched a 5x8 carry on utility trailer from Lowes. Used first time and tail light along with my tag fell off on Highway. ***** says they cant help contact ************************. I have had no response from them. How do they sell a product that just falls apart for no reason. One minute its their next stop gone! No return phone calls is terrible business.
