  Took my everday work vehicle to Global Tires for some engine work, (timing chain replacement, cold air intake, exhaust, turbo charger) *** had the vehicle for several months, work wasn't completed in timely manner, factory part (turbo) went missing, car sustained paint damages from panel of glass shattering & shards caused paint chipping, vehicle was rough upon idling, once full payment was made upon pick up, Asked the tech ****** if he had driven the car, **** stated he DID drive the car and it was good to go. Yet that wasn't fully true, because once the vehicle was driven off the property & half a block away the engine shut down, never restarting. I notified **** at global tires, he the car picked up & brought back to the shop for review. the following day, I was notified the engine was locked & i would need another engine. yet he mentioned he drove fine, so why had it locked up on the owner?I reached out to ****** the owner of Global Tires for help & a *************** responded " I dont know anything about the car or it being on his co property."I then proceeded to leave quietly & furious off their property, with a non operating car & well over $3000.00 out of pocket due to their negligence & lack there of ability to repair the car properly.the best resolution would be Global Tires: Refunding all monies I have paid, including the cost of missing factory turbo charger, paint damages, & the cost of a new engine which i feel personally they're completely liable for due to the negligence handling my car.

  This customer was notified of engine damage prior and during pickup of his vehicle. This claim was taken to court and settled as well. We are not responsible for the prior engine damage before arriving with us. Customer was offered a refund after pickup and proceeded to take legal actions instead. That offer no longer stands. This customer filed a suit for ten thousand dollars (worth more than the vehicle) trying to take advantage of the situation. We maintain a fantastic reputation in our local area.
